Timeline for PNP from New Delhi.

it seems that CHC do not have any timelines to send passport back. I sent passports on oct/15/2010 and medical done on end of sep.
when did you sent passports? usually, it takes 3 to 4 months after medical but there are many exceptions now a days. don't know how it works. only thing, we should wait and watch......good luck.

good u sent the doc but i preffer 2 send direct 2 PNP cos if relative lost any doc then it would delay the applictaion...best of luck

they will include the MAS with it.

The bank statement shows different address where we actually live but we have given address of our parents house as it is on our passport.we haven't mentioned anywhere of our present address.will they again ask for the statement.

How many people in this forum have received PPR since beginning of the new year? can we have a count? Looks like CHC New Delhi is very very slow. The 6 months processing time mentioned on the CIC website must be totally wrong. My passport is sitting with them since 6 months.

Hi akmkam,

The 6 months mentioned on the CIC website is not a deadline for them, it is a processing time based on how long it has taken for them to process 80% of the cases, that means for 20% of the cases, it has take more than 6 months.

US2IND2CAN - This tuesday, also sdame same status - 'In-process'. Is the same status yours? Did you get more details like medical receiced etc? Have you ordered CAIPS notes? Did you send case specific enquiry? Can you PM me your cell number?

Yes, the ecas always shows "In Process" and when I click on it, it says "We started processing your application on June 2nd 2010."
There is no change in status since the processing started.

CAIPS notes..did not order.

Case specific enquiry.....came back with a generic reply "Your file currently awaits review by an immigration officer"

To all those who have sent their passports to CHC New Delhi, what did you guys do for the postage paid return envelope? Our postal service in India will not generate tracking numbers until the package is booked through speedpost. DHL and Bludedart do not have the return envelope concept either. So I bought stamps for Speedpost, posted it on a decent size envelope and included that in my package. Let me know what you guys did?
