Need some guidance here..

One of my friend wants to come to canada and an immigration agency (wwics) have offered him the PR through Alberta PNP . They will find a job for my friend and then will get the nomination certificate and finally PR. For all this they are charging him arround 9 to 10 lakhs.

Does anyone have heard of such a thing and also, what kind of verifications visa office will do at your present job in India and future job in Canadain this case? Since I am in canada I dont know how things work from India.

As per my knowledge, Canadian Government always advise to take immigration help from its licensed consultants. Canadian Government has a regulatory council which is called ICCRC. See this website http://www.iccrc-crcic.ca/home.cfm

Moreover if u r in Canada, u can ask for more information from my brother who is ICCRC licensed, working in Winnipeg, Canada. Hello Inder,

As you have landed in Canada, please can you share below with us which can be of help to all of us here:

1. As MPNP applicants need to show they have CAD 10K (for main applicant) + CAD 2K (for each dependent) in their possession at the time of filing their applications did you actually carry that amount in cash/traveller's cheque etc. with you to Canada and showed it to immigration officer?

2. What sort of questions were asked by immigration officers at the port of entry?

Please share above information here so that people like us who have applied can get some idea what need to know when they actually land.

Is ther any body who s draft of Rprf came back because they have new revised fee on 11th of june .i got my draft back saying that i have paid incorrect fee as the fee changed on 11th of june but  i sent the fee on 1st june and they recieved at 4th june .is ther any person who had the same experience in the past pls give some idea about it .  ??? :(can this affect my application.please give some advice . :-\ :-\

Do not worry abt ur aplication mate... just resend that RPRF. U can find the revised RPRF fee on the website of your visa office.

Not At all my friend.... they just need the revised fees as the foreign exchange rates are fluctuating a lot. So they asked you to provide the correct fees thats it. Don;t worry about it at all.

I applied under general Stream from India.
I am from INDIA. I Applied my case as a single. I have girlfriend. I want to know what is best option for me to add her for applying to CIC New Delhi. If I get marry now they is she eligible for applying with me? If yes will my case be smooth? I know they can call me for VISA interview. because they might think this marriage might be fake. second option I will apply alone and wait for my PR then marry her and apply for PR for her?
