Congrats for PPR.
I would suggest you to send your passport once you reach US, cause its illegal to mail your passport from india to abroad. Beyond that visa office in US would also not mail you your passport back to Indian address,

Thanks for the suggestion but my VISA office is DELHI, So means if i send pasport from US to INDIA CHC -Its illegal ...rite ????

Gst is right. u will have to submit ur passport to NDVO, but its also worth pain as u never know how long New Delhi VO will take to give ur passport back with stamped visa. other option is that u can inquire by sending a mail to CHC & they might ask you to submit ur passport at CHC US. ( just a thought)

i m saying so because i have the same story. i came back from New Zealand after getting passport request but so far my app is not showing "in process" its been about 4 months i have submitted my medicals. n this situation of uncertainty is very painful.

congrats Kaal....can u plz share ur timeline?

hellow everybody specially sunshine, leoalive,

today i received email from CHC ND :
Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing in response to your recent e-mail enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

Thank you for the information below. As you are aware there have been many delays in your case due to changes in the information you provided to us regarding your daughters and the need for travel throughout the process. The reason for the new file number is that we have a new computer system so the number has been changed but we can also find your information using your old file number - so either EP000xxxxx or Bxxxxxxxxx are OK. We should be finalizing your case soon and will send your passports to the mailing address noted below:
Mailing address : xxxxxxxxxx
please give opinion.....on this reply.

" DECISION MADE "
Thats what now it shows on my ECAS. Before it was saying IN PROCESS.
So should i pre-assume i am going to get my passport very soon ?
Though when i click on DECISION MADE it shows the same things which it use to show on clicking IN PROCESS i.e.

We received your application for permanent residence on November 1, 2011.

We started processing your application on February 1, 2012.

Medical results have been received.
