Hi Mr.Singh.

This is GD Singh from Punjab. Well, heartiest congratulations.Your long wait paid you with good results. Mr.Singh, I am new to this thread, joined this couple of weeks back and I have no idea about the timelines and the stages we have to go through. I hav recd my AOR this last week after 4 months. Can you please help me in letting me know the further stages and also about the sponsor interview and applicant as well.? Is it for sure that these will be interviewed or MPNP guys randomly selects the file and give a call.? If you please share your journey, that would be so much helpful.

Congrats again!

Take Care
GD

Hu this is really strange, as per I think they updated their system (your file) in dec 2011 when they received your passports.
You don't need to worry abt this because some time it's also system error.
Don't worry you will receive your visa soon

do u know who got the visa latest ? and which day ?

What exactly does "in process" mean?

"In process" is the status given to any application that has been received at a case processing centre or a visa office but that has not yet been finalized. Therefore, for the duration of the Application Processing Time, CAS will show the status as "in process."

Why has the status of my application not changed even though it has been a long time since I submitted it and I know that things have happened with my file?

It is normal for some actions to not be reflected in CAS for many weeks due to the volume of information received at the visa offices and the case processing centres.
In many cases, an in-process file is actually waiting in a queue for initial review as applications are handled in the order they are received and on a case-by-case basis. The waiting time in this initial queue can be lengthy, depending on the standard processing times. Applications are processed according to the Application Processing Time at a given location.

In addition, other actions happening to your file are not shown on CAS (example: security checks) so it may appear as though nothing is happening to your file.

MPNP_AUG 2011

My Timeline is:-

Stream - General
Visa office - New Delhi
Applied for MPNP - August 01,2011
A.O.R. Received - November 01,2011

Waiting for LOA.....

Can anybody please tell me when will I get LOA?

Hey guys,

Is it true that there are processing delays at the moment for Quebec PNP for Indian applicants because this is the information I received in a PDF from an immigration consultant today:

Stage 1: Interview after 12 to 18 months
Stage 2: File number issued by CHC within next 3 months
Medical forms after another 4 months
Visa stamping after another 4 months

That totals to 23 to 29 months which is over 2 years! I thought it took 15 mnths max!

If its true this info must be issued by CHC itself... i tried to google it but couldnt find anything... so its not acceptable. moreover there is no legitimate reason to do such partiality with QUEBEC APPLICANTS.

Yeah, it seems absurd. So what's the ideal timeline then? 15 months, right?
