Here is a short story i want to share, after getting an email from CHC - ND for submission of my passport, i phoned on the number provided on CHC ND website, sad story is that the customer care staff knows nothing, i asked them that can i submit my passport personally, they said yes you can do it between 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. After that i phoned 2 - 3 times again and believe me, every customer care agent had a different information with them. So when i reached personally at ND office, the security at CHC told me that they do not accept passports personally, it has to be sent by courier or mail.

huffffffffffffffffffffff
Anyways i have sent my passport by mail now.

I received the following reply from NDVO, after abt 8 days... i asked them whether i will get refund for my other application with NDVO under federal skilled worker..

Hi

I got one more request for additional documents. This is for reference letters from my supervisors for all my past companies, not for the current company. I already sent them original offer letter for all my past companies.

This is the 2nd time I got the request for additional documents.

I even don't about where are my supervisors right now. It has been 7 years for one company and 3-4 years for other 3 companies.

I will send them email. Let's see when I will get it..

any suggestions?

you sent them offer letters and not reference letters. That is why they are asking it now.

Did you sent them any letter in your application stating the reason for not sending the reference letters?

Also did you attach any reference letters from your side because its mentioned in the PNP checklist that the applicant should wright a reference letter themselves if it cannot be provided by the company.

Oh really. I didn't know that.. I sent all companies offer letters where I have worked and reference letter for current company. I didn't know whereabouts of old company employees. So, I didn't send reference letters for all past companies.

Now, This is the confusion because I don't know all past company employees about where r they. How should I write reference letter now?

Can you please provide me the link where it is written that I can write a reference letter by myself?

The old checklist is no longer available on cic website so cant give you its link.

It says the following:

WORK EXPERIENCE

For you and your spouse or common-law partner:

•notarized employment contracts from your present and past employers, accompanied by an English or French translation
•original and up-to-date letters of reference from your past and current employers. Letters must be written on company letterhead and show the company's full address, telephone and fax numbers, and be stamped with the company's official seal.

Letters must include all of the following information:
•the specific period of your employment with the company
•the positions you have held during the period of employment and the time spent in each position
•full details of your main responsibilities and duties in each position
•your total annual salary plus benefits
•the signature of your immediate supervisor or the personnel officer of the company
•a business card of the person signing

If you have experience as a self-employed person, provide copies of:

•business/company registration documents,
•proof of business conducted with clients (invoices, bills, client references)
•balance sheets,
•income tax returns, and/or
•proof of your licence to practice (if you are a private practitioner)

If you cannot provide a reference from your current employer, provide a written explanation (i.e. employment contracts, work descriptions, performance appraisals describing job duties).
