Till the e-cas was in status of "in-process", e-cas showed our address as current Indian residential address. Now, it says :

"Current Home Address" : Manitoba, Canada.
"Current Mailing Address" : current Indian address.

So thats like an indication that we have got PR from CIC

Hi every1....

First of all, congrats to all who got their visas...finally lady luck has smiled upon them.

Now, I had applied for PR under FSW in march 2010 as NDVO and this is my ecas status

Permanent Residence
We received your application for permanent residence on June 11, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on October 5, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 12, 2012.

I have submitted each and every document and till date, i have'nt got any news from the Visa Office. Moreover, my consultant, the big moron says that there is no movement in the visa office at all.

Guys, please help me out here and let me know when can i expect my medicals. I have been waiting for more than 2 years and now m getting really impatient as every1 in my family except me is over there.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello tkango, the FSW processing is generally very slow compared to PNP.
Also, since the fed's cuts announced last year in immigration department, the processing has indeed gone slow. Generally FSW applicants from India have received med request in about 1 year time since processing started in India.
You should check in the FSW (Skilled Worker / Professional Immigration) sub category of this forum. you will find many FSW applicants in the threads there.

received the passports just now ... cant believe it.. so fast.

at times CIC process looks so slow.... feel dead while waiting; and some times ... it just happens in a snap
