No, we did not do any mail/inquiry regarding our case. We were pursuing some courses and we only updated them the results of those courses. I think they wanted to give us some break from studies and that too a long and far away one (may be abroad)....................lol ................but they neither gave us the visa for canada or tickets for some other country..........c'est dommage!(see we learnt french also)......... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

After ur sponsors interview, it takes about 20 days to take a decision & another 20-25 days to reach concerned documents to india(PB).
So i think u need to wait for another 10-15 days & then contact them.

I am not familiar with the timelines here, and perhaps I misunderstood something, but this applicant said his sponsors had been questioned and he had been waiting for 8 months. If the timeline should be 3 weeks plus another 4 weeks, total approx 2 months, shouldn't he contact the VO immediately?

Hi Pippin,

U r confusing this thing. Let me explain. Usually "after" the nominee's are interviewed, it takes about 3 weeks to take decision, & then they send the concerned docs via snail mail which takes about 2-3 weeks to reach here in india. So this is the time after nominee are interviewed.

Moreover in that case, 8 months period is the time he has applied, not 8 months for interviews. Well i am telling these as per the trends and the experience i have earned.
