Any idea which courier service VFS uses, their site says that they have sent my passport yesterday , but I have not got it . There is no details available on it.

Hi Atin,

VFS uses Blue dart courier service.You can call at helpdesk number and get your tracking number from there.

I have few questions on mind my -

1. How much weight is one passenger allowed to carry with him on NEW DELHI - TORONTO flight?
2. I received 2 CPR copies with passport. One CPR has my photo attached on & second one is without photo. Is it supposed to be like this?
3. I know people attend a seminar arranged by CIC before leaving. How will i get informed if one such seminar is organized for me?

Please guide.

Better check with airlines website. Lufthansa allows 2 nos of 23 kg luggage as checked-in and 1 no 7 kg carry on luggage.

Depends on the airlines you choose . Some allow 1 -50 pound (23kg) and some allow 2 -50 pound bags. Check the airlines site before you book tickets.

Two copr is normal, One they will take it during immigration and one they will staple in your passport. If you dont get your PR Card and move to usa for some reasons you can use the copr to legally enter canada as PR.(applies only entry via private vehicle by land)

Check with CIC ..If you speak decent english you should be fine... Immigration is the easy part as far as i have heard. Surviving in CANADA without a JOB is the worst part. All the best

Someone know, If we have to take all settelment fund(10,000+2,500) to show at the point of entry to land as PR, PNP GS.

One of my friend told me that its not compulsory to bring 10000$ funds . its advice to bring sufficient funds to settle down easily first year . as much as u can bring its good 4 u.
But I am confused.....

For Family stream no need to show any settelment funds at the port of entry.
You no need to show funds at POE.
