Timeline for PNP Applicants for onlyNew Delhi Visa Office (2012-2013)

Hi Team ,
Good Day ,Hope every one is doing good!! ..I have one query regarding passport renewal.. I have got Canada Permanent Resident visa from the NewDelhi visa ofice on Jan 2014 and is valid till 2 Sep 2014.
My passport will be expired on month of September ,2014. Hence I am planning to renewal the passport before travelling to Canada because I heard that some airlines might not allow to travel from India with passport validity less than 6 months . Hence Could you please suggest if I can renewal the passport which is having the Canada PR visa ? and also if I renew Does the visa carries the same validity which is mentioned in current passport.Please guide me as it is important for my travel.

Hi Sudhakar
I think no need to renew passport because it's very easy and fast in canada. So it's good to travel with old one. If you have any doubt you can consult with airline.

Sadkak i think u can get ur passport renewed in Winnipeg it self and fast too. Its probably near MTS tower there.

Thanks Gat and raman1 .. I heard soemwhere that Indian immigration will not let you travel if passport is having validity of less than 6 months. Thats why I am worried and trying to figure it out . Anyhow thanks for clarification..

Sudhakar, even if u opt for reissue of passport, only first page of ur pp is stamped cancell.ur visa doesnt get cancelled, only thing is you will have to show both ur passports everwhere in transits and exit. Just take care when u go pp office, mention it to every officer there that u have canada pr visa in that pp.

Ecas status decision made.
and also gor PPR. but before PPR ecas status was changed to decision made.
Can you please tell why it is like that. Please give your comments

But I didnt notice inprogress in ecas status.

hi all by grace of God I decision made today. I checked it right now. Even my sister in law with almost same time line got decision made. her medical received on 25th feb.
