Dear Gurminder, KB, Vineet and other seniors

Please advise on below queries:

1. Settlement funds should be carried in cash or there are any other valid options?
2. My visa validity is until December 2014, if initially I travel alone do I need to carry full amount shown as proof of fund or fund for single person (self) is enough?
3. While giving the resident address to immigration officer--is it okay if we give friend, relative's address?
4. How long it takes to get PR after entering to canada?
5. Can any of the family member return back to India after receiving PR?
6. Is it mandatory to carry international license from India?

I know this a long list of queries :), but I hope this would help to all perspective candidates who are planning to travel to Canada in coming months.

Thank you in advance for your responses :)

Settlement funds can be carried in term of cash, travelers cheque, and fixed deposits .
But i have another question , Is it must to take the whole settelment fund with you?
Also how much time it will take to complete the formalities at the port of entry / immigration check? My destination city is Saskatoon. So just want to know what should be the layover period before catching the connection?
REally appreciate if you guys help us on the above queries.

getting frustrated....wait wait .....wait ......difficult to concentrate on work now...earlier it was easy to work ...but after most of our dear forum family members got DM....it si not easy to concentrate on work.....

JAY/PARIS ......??????

I've also submitted my passports and other required documents few days back. It is becoming extremely difficult to concentrate on anything at all or do anything at all... can't work.. I just keep on checking the ecas again and again... god help me and others ....
seeing many people are getting their DMs, I'm hoping I get mine in asap. I left a very good long term career opportunity in US for submitting my passports legally and I hope I made the right decision...

there is no question or valuable information in my message above but just venting my feelings and frustration and wishing everyone good luck..
