1. How much MAXIMUM money one can take to Canada?
2. Do we need to get any NOC from the IncomeTax dept from India? Indian immigration dept or custom demanded the Income Tax return proof or NOC at the time of leaving India?

1 u can take minimum money u show max depend on u
No cash ,only travel cheque u can use
I think no need of income tax return
 
Dear qajitender - Carry $2000 in cash in hand and remaining TC or better still I suggest, go to Axis Bank and tell them you want Canada Travel Card. They will make you fill one form and same day give you a CAD Debit card. You can then, transfer some INR to that CAD account and you will have Canadian $$ in the card. Its like an ATM card. You can withdraw CAD at no extra cost in Canada. I did like that only before I went.... I carried $1000 in hand and remaining in CAD Axis card.

by this u mean that you applied for MPNP on this date or what... howlong does it take from the time u apply in MPNP provience to get this "Nomination.....: 27-09-2012"

Well, I am OPNP applicant, not MPNP. I applied in June 2012 and got the nomination certificate for Ontario in Sept 2012. For MPNP, you can take advise from our esteemed members like SM123 or dipanchoksi and many others.
