Ok done. All the best for rest process.
Dipan yours and mine RPRF got encashed on same day Jan 4th. Any expected timeline to hear from NDVO on our visa status after they have encashed the fees?

True dear. Since I was not much in touch in the forum lately, I am surprised to see Howward's case. When I am seeing his previous posts, his ECAS status got changed to In Process on Jan 14th and he got DM status today!

Really NDVO is completely clueless and all our assumptions may go wrong!

Hi Dipan and Extramiler - what is OPNP FSW backlog?? Is it the one where the Opportunities Ontario people themselves contacted you for the PNP nomination??

Actually, let me tell my actual story - I applied under FSW in 2007, but later heard that all cases before 2008 are being cancelled and money returned. But, out of nowhere suddenly in 2012, I got a letter from CIC if I am interested in PNP route. I felt, let me try that option as well. I didnt know about this PNP at all. They (CIC, Canada) only contacted me and told to apply under PNP. Is this what you call FSW-Backlog??

If yes, then I am also FSW Backlog applicant under O-PNP. Is this correct??

(I recently got back a DD from CHC, NDVO for the fee that I applied under FSW in 2007. They refunded the FSW amount).

Hi Vineethere,

You are absolutely right we are FSW Backlog Pilot applicants and going through the entire process again which we did while applying as FSW. Irony!!! :-[

Thanks brother for the clarification!! Coming to know today that I am actually FSW Backlog O-PNP applicant...!!! :D

Btw, My DD was encashed on 18th Dec and Medical received 24th Dec, but do not see any special treatment for me even though i am backlog applicant.... !!! :( Do you think, they will give preference to us??

Dear Dipan - can you update these changes in my line?? Also, since u are updating, one more correction is - my AOR CIC is 16th April and not March 7th (I think, i gave it wrongly)

Officially they must as they sought interest in us when they returned applications of others. Did you paste the RED STICKER on top of your documents as they had suggested. As per earlier communications after getting Provincial certificate, they had mentioned to paste this red sticker on all further communications.

I don't know maybe that should be to differentiate cases like us. What i have learnt thus far is that NDVO does not have any pattern and only time and destiny would take us out of this wait bro. We have no choice but to wait :)

Yes. Brother, i did stick the RED sticker when i sent the application to CIO. But, I did not stick it now when i sent the PP, DD to NDVO. Do you mean, I should've stick the RED sticker when sending docs, MR, PPR to NDVO??

What should i do now?? :(

I do not know whether you did anything wrong if you had not stuck the sticker.

Other members: Please throw some light here. We are FSW backlog candidates. Are mainstream PNP applicants provided with any provincial stickers?

If not then stickers provided to FSW backlog candidates mean some thing for sure.

I think, the RED sticker is a way to distinguish between FSW applicants and normal PNP applicants. They will process the file w/o the sticker also, but at slow pace. My Medical and DD have been received, which means they to have moved ahead. But, let me see.. i will try to send a letter with that sticker now.. so atleast they are aware... thats the best I can do....

Dear extramiler - brother, when did the 3rd "Medical received" line appear for you in your ecas?? Can you pls tell??
