Timeline for PNP Applicants for onlyNew Delhi Visa Office (2012-2013)

Guys
I got Medical form on SUNDAY 8th Dec 2013 and changed status as "In Process" and they started my file from 4th Dec 2013.
It seems NDVO working on Saturday and Sunday...
I am so happy. Sooner i ll take medical date and keep posting about it.

Which is the best way to submit PP and RPRF DD like indian post or Blue Dart?

Dear Dipan - why are you paying 62800/-? You can pay 57800/- now. Excess fees means then again they have to keep track of that and that may delay processing. Better to pay exact fees.

I used DTDC's PTP service. They charged 260/- (all inclusive) for 4 passports and other documents and it reached CHC next afternoon at 12noon.

Yes you are right. Let me do it in that way. Moreover did DTDC cover insurance of your passport?

I dont recall if insurance was there. Dont think so, but its pretty reliable service and you can track online. The DTDC fellow here was quite friendly and he explained me how exactly they carry PTP items. It seems, one person physically travels carrying a box full of PTP packets in the flight and hands over to the DTDC person at destination and takes any PTP packets from him to the place from where he started.

So, in PTP it doesnt go in aircraft cargo, instead a person physically carries it from A to B.

if you are paying excess fee...to NDVO....first they will refund you the excess amount and it will not delay the processing i think because................ what they want ? fee ....but should not be less..then there will be delay......
