Sorry, just saw that u have been nominated under OPNP. Me too - the same.

Guys is it safe to send Paspports via speed post, gives me a scary feeling. I understand they dont accept couriers as it is in hand delivery. Can I as a principlay applicant go and submit the same in person at NDVO or VFS. Has anybody tried that. Refer link below

sent them with blue dart or dtdc or fedex courier

You can send via VFS. Right? THe post clearly says -

"Applicants within India and Nepal who have been requested in writing by Citizenship and Immigration Canada to submit passports to a Canadian visa office in India are requested to use the services of VFS visa application centres to expedite processing."

Chirag, they have given PO address and none of the courier companies deliver it to PO BOX. If I remove the PO BOX and send it to the physical address they might refuse it.
Have you or anybody used courier service to deliver the same?

The letter I received from CHC does not talk about the VFS option, guesisng is it just for visa applicants? I enquired with VHS they asked me to check with CHC if it is not written on the letter received from them.

Longwait10,

I had sent a person to deliver passports this month, however, the CHC delhi rep informed they donot accept passports through courier and suggested sending them thru indian speed post.

I had submitted passports for me n my wife thru speed post.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
S
