wow thank you so much for clarifying...whatever you said makes absolutely sense to me. I am not going to take any risk now that I know. Don't want to delay my application when it is already too much of wait the way it is.....

since i am new to this forum, I hope you have updated my timeline as well. Also do people get annoyed if I ask too many questions ? are you the admin who is going to answer me every time I post something? because right now all i have is time and this forum to fill me in.

Thanks a lot for clarifying your gender.

I believe They can check it any time as every bank is Electronically connected.

You should keep the minimum amount required in your account as I have gone through the cases in another forum where cases were given refusals in case of shortage of funds.

Strongly recommend to keep the minimum balance in your account . You can use the over and above money for you and your family usage .

Have few doubt.. I am from Chandigarh.. once I get my mr , pp, rprf mail.. can I submit rprf + pp at vfs chandigarh ?

Is it fast service there at vfs or courier is better option ??

Also which hospital is best in chd area for medicals..

Also dd to be in inr or cad?

VFS is indeed a faster service but you can only submit your passports through VFS if VO will provide you an option to do that otherwise you need to send ppt directly to Delhi .

In Chandigarh Max is a good option for medicals . I too did my medicals there .

And you can make your DD in INR also , , payable at New Delhi . I had made mine in INR .

Delhi, the banker was asking what's it for and I explained him the requirement.

Fortunately that particular branch of HDFC some others had also taken the rprf dd in cad so he understood.

Anyways u can check HDFC if that is the issue with icic

They had given me a dd of bank of Nova Scotia. I guess they have tied up with them for Canadian issuance

online application mpnp (family stream) submitted - Oct 2012
interview over the phone by Manitoba immigration also sponser interviewed - March 2013
LOA received in May 2013 dated march 27th 2013
Documents submitted to CIC Nova scotia - August 8 2013
Demand draft cashed - Sep 9th 2013
confirmation email from CIC - Sep 27th, 2013 (email saying documents transferred to NDVO)
Now, waiting for confirmation email from NDVO and medicals and passport request

can anyone tell me how long for me to receive confirmation email form NDVO this year 2013? some people get it in a month and some in 4 months which i think is a long long time? any idea how long it might take? any recent application that NDVO answered sooner?

I feel I have been waiting too long and I am running out of patience any information will be helpful. thank you
