Payment of Fees

Fees are payable in Canadian dollars or Indian Rupees. Only bank drafts (demand drafts) or certified cheques are accepted; cash is not accepted for fee payment. The bank draft should be made for the exact amount and in favour of "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada" payable at New Delhi.

Hi Rashpal,

Why do you want to send the DD in CAD? when you have an option for making it in INR.

how long does it take to get AOR from Delhi after I receive AOR from CIC office nova scotia? any information will be helpful.thank you

Also here is my timeline -

online application mpnp (family stream) submitted - Oct 2012
interview over the phone by Manitoba immigration also sponser interviewed - March 2013
LOA received in May 2013 dated march 27th 2013
Documents submitted to CIC Nova scotia - August 8 2013
Demand draft cashed - Sep 9th 2013
confirmation email from CIC - Sep 27th, 2013 (email saying documents transferred to NDVO)
Now, waiting for confirmation email from NDVO and medicals and passport request

can anyone tell me how long for me to receive confirmation email form NDVO this year 2013? some people get it in a month and some in 4 months which i think is a long long time? any idea how long it might take? any recent application that NDVO answered sooner?

I feel I have been waiting too long and I am running out of patience :( any information will be helpful. thank you

Brother !!

Welcome to the group . NDVO is very unpredictable , some get AOR in one month ,some get in 4 months and some get Medicals and ppr directly .

Don't loose your patience as you have long way to go .. Processing time for PNP cases is almost 15 months from the date of file received by CIC, NS.

Pray to god for faster processing as worst (PAFSO strike)has been over now.

Thank you for your response. I m female so sister :)

yeah!! I am hoping for a sooner response. also wanted to ask you if they will again check the bank balance when my documents reach in delhi office. My parents used some money from my account and i will have to wait for a while until i get it back. so if they would check the balance in delhi office I may not have what i had initially shown. I dont know if it is a big deal, is it?

thank you for your response again and I am glad that i found this forum. All the information I read through are informative also makes the wait not a lot but little better to read through the recent post etc :)

Thanks a lot for clarifying your gender. :)

I believe They can check it any time as every bank is Electronically connected.

You should keep the minimum amount required in your account as I have gone through the cases in another forum where cases were given refusals in case of shortage of funds.

Strongly recommend to keep the minimum balance in your account . You can use the over and above money for you and your family usage .
