Yes you should wait till 6 months. I am sure before that surely they will send you some updates as strike is over.

Hello everyone,
i'm a newbie to this forum.
i had been checking updates about strike and got to this forum.
hence i registered and was very happy with everyone's inputs

i had applied to AINP in nov2009(long way i know)
they asked for several documents meanwhile ,sent file once back saying it was incomplete, asked for IELTS (eventhough i m from an university listed by them not to give IELTS) and finally :P they sent nomination on 26th sept 2012

sent file to nova scotia soon after 2-3 weeks

file transfer to NDVO 28th jan2013

And now the wait continues......don't know how long!!!
:'(

Guys !!

Any news till now to cheer for ??

Regards
KB

Hi
Please check your private message.

i been in the US for close to a decade and been to Canada couple of times

I would offer my perspective on shopping and relocation so that u know what to expect

minimize shopping--Infact US and Canada is cheaper than india for almost every branded stuff in all areas

and further less luggage more flexibility to face the challenges below

Beware of extreme frigid weather and snow for guys landing from November to April

Dec Jan Feb March April are coldest months if u can land from May to Oct it shud be easy start
it looks nice from the outside when u see it on television
but lotsa times when temperatures go below -15 i felt like terrorists roaming on the streets
to attack me
you ears get numb and body too and it can be extremely depressing and challenging

Added to that job search --its a big hurdle -but perserve and u shud get one

In my opinion u shud worry only about coping with the weather and job search --nothing else!!!
