Hi Deepak,

Considering your timelines, I think you will be receiving good news anytime next week or 3rd week of October...Good luck.

Well friends, Normally CIC ask for PR Fee or Medicals after 4 months completion from 2 AOR and 80% of the cases decisions were made in between 12-13 month's time(from application received date) for PNP cases.

By OCT end or Nov 1st/2nd week most of us(Jan/feb/March'13 applicants) will get communication from NDVO for next step.....

Let's see and pray to god for quick and smooth processing:):)

Seriously this wait is killing now>>>

Cheers!

Got an email from CPP-Ottawa.. I was hoping I would receive it from NDVO, since I live in India now.. not too sure if it is PPR..

The title of the email is Ready For Visa Letter.
The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete.
PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING. YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE FINALIZED AT THE CASE PROCESSING PILOT-OTTAWA (“CPP-O”).

Has your family composition changed since our last correspondence?
· Have you married or divorced?
· Have you given birth or adopted a child?
· Do you intend to get married or divorced prior to becoming a permanent resident?
· Do you intend to give birth or adopt a child prior to becoming a permanent resident?

If any of these conditions apply, you must inform CPP-O immediately:
OttPilot-Immigration<at>cic (dot) gc (dot) ca

You will be asked to submit evidence such as a copy of the marriage, divorce, birth or adoption certificate or a letter advising when and where the marriage, divorce, birth or adoption is expected to take place. Any new spouse and/or children must be added to your application and be found admissible to Canada before your case is finalized. Failure to declare additional dependants such as a spouse or children before you become a permanent resident could result in the cancellation of your permanent resident visa. Once your file is closed, you would be required to submit a new application and pay new processing fees. Any new application would be assessed under the Act and Regulations in force at the time of its submission.

If none of these conditions applies to you, you may proceed below.

can i delay till 1 year after expiry of medicals which is july 2014 or even beyond?

Hi Kish,

I am not sure that you have received the PPR request or not as on date but yes this is true that NDVO/colombo or every office sets an deadline of 30/60/90 days while replying as they also need to close the file in specific timeframe so as to publish the 80% clearance figures to media or public.

Best is to drop them an email mentioning your current work commitment in US and seek their advice for alternative option to submit passport to CPP-Ottawa/delay the pp submission for sometime or just wait to hear back from them. You are free to ask them for queries/solution once your file is in process(you get ppr) and normally they revert in 72 business hours to your query once your file is open.

They are also in pressure to meet the targets and SLA for any open file and try their best to support the genuine requests.Drop an email to them and do share the revert to let other forum members know the alternative to this issue.

There is no guarantee or surety for any statement made here and this only based upon experience and learnings while dealing with CIC officials.

Cheers,
Roxxane
