Do we need to carry 10000$ will us that we show in our file,

Immigration officer in Canada will check those dollars that we are carrying ?

Is it necesaary to take this amount of money with ourselves

Please suggest.

Yes you need to carry travelling cheque which you can cash in canada

Hi karambir i know its 15months for pnp process i had seen in on cic website , my friend told me that they might finish the process in 4 to 6 months. is it true bro let me know and i have already completed 4 months still waiting, i have doubt about funds i had shown one year bank statement and a letter frm abnk that i have 7 lakhs in my ac on particular date, i have removed the amount frm bank after 2 days and want to know do embassy call to bank to verify that do we still have the amount in our a/c or do they just go through document we had given...

Hi Davinder ,
U can take any amount with u , less than 10000 $. It's not mandatory at all for u to take that much amount with u. Imm officer will not ask anything about that.

Better to carry amount what we had shown in file... Sometimes they ask to shiw up. Also don't carry single traveller cheque in ur name. It need to split amount principle and spouse. Better to refer cic website for requirement.
