An update from my side...I've received an e-mail today from Colombo to submit original passports in New Delhi. I'll be sending them through VFS. Thank you all for your guidance and support. I hope we all get our visas stamped soon. All the best!

Can sombody guide... its urgent

I have a friend in winnipeg who is willing to sponsor me under MPNP FSW. The thing is he had already sponsored his real brother 2-3 months back and process is still going. Can he still sponsor me... Please guide me

Dear brother according to my poor knowledge he can sponsor one family at a time.
when his brother finishes his process then he can sponsor you.
While you can apply on your own by requesting directly to MORDEN City

@ Davinder- Do we have to send anything other than the original passports and 2 photographs (these 2 are the only things they've asked for in the e-mail)? Also, in the last line of their e-mail they have mentioned in bold letters 'PLEASE RETURN THIS FORM WITH THE REQUESTED DOCUMENTS'. Does it refer to the copy of e-mail as there is no form attached?

I talked to VFS guy he told me that please bring only those documents that are mentioned in email and attach the print copy of email also
So we should sent only Passport and Photogrpahs with email print out from colombo.

Fees is 400 per applicant for VFS.

So where are you going (which branch of VFS) to submit passports..?

I have to give 3 months notice period to my company before I leave,so what you think it is right time to give notice or I have to wait for my visa issued/passport back.

Please give your sugesstions.

its better to wait for stamping done we cant expect when they will return passport my one of friend got passport after 11month i hope u will get in a week but dndt take risk.................

Wait for your passports.Shall expect delays due to strike action.

They give you enough time for landing.
