you even cannot imagine How Hard It was for me from checking from Bank?

It was Totally Hell for me and Took more than 3 hours.

Please Let me Know your Bank I May be able to help you out.

According to my self your DD must have encashed on 20 to 25 May.

Do Not Hesitate for Ask more Information.

Hi, how u guys are checking whether the DD s encashed? coz wen i ask with my bank ppl they are saying that they are not getting reply from JPMorgan. and he s saying its a tedious process to chk this way.:-( .
My application reached CIO on 22, Apr but no mails so far... expecting reply very badly...

It is simple process. your branch will send an e mail to its central treasury office then they will reply. normally the update their system after every 15 days.
allow them one day to answer your query.

I went to my branch on May24th and since then im waiting... mean time i visited him 5 times... he always has same answer " i didnt get reply yet, i ve sent mail for the second time. let us wait and see".

Waht will be address of colombo office and NDVO

I would Suggess you to call the ICICI Call center coustmer care then ask them to give the details if they do not give Explain them your situation and tell them you are Already visited Branch for this Query Then ASK them to give you ICICI FOREIGN EXCHANGE head office number because All Foreign Currency Transactions happens in Foreign Exchange Department. They will Definately give you this Information. I hope it Helps.

sent dd to new dehli and photocopy along with mr proof to colombo office.

The bank draft should be made for the exact amount and in favour of "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada" payable at New Delhi.

Takes around a month to be encashed... you can mail the office immdtly

dont worry mine was reached there on 24 april and draft was enchashed in 31 may.
and aor is still pending
so dont worry they take 2 months.

Seems Strange DD Normally encashed within 1 month. Mine Received Date was 25 April and DD encashed by 24-may and There Is One More Applicant Pariskimar His DD is Also Encashed.

Q:- Have you Included all the Documents According to Checklist?
Q:- Have you Filled and Signed All Immigration Forms Correctly If not Your Application Might be Returned to you without Processing.

Now keep your fingers Crossed and I suggest you to check again with your bank by end of this week and Next week Also.

Immigration officers' strike might have something to do with it, I think. Don't worry, u will get a positive response soon...Best of luck...
