Hi Gks,
Not yet man, the medicals were done on 04/05/2013 . It was delivered to London visa office on 13th May 2013 and from their it is supposed to go to Colombo. Going by your time line from Ottawa to Colombo it took 22 days that is from 9th May 2013 to 31st May 2013.
I presume it should have reached colombo. Just waiting for Ecas to get updated!
Can't Predict when this ecas updated tuesdays or Which day?
What about your PPR ? You should be getting any time now.

my profile is -
my fiance is 3rd officer in merchant navy. he did diploma in nautical science, experience 2 and half year,,we hv close friend in manitoba, canada...i checked eligiblity n he scored 60 .....

but m soo confused in some portion....like 1. how much time it ll take to get PR...??? 2. which way is better online or by mail??..... 3. shud v apply our file by consultancy?? 4. how much time it takes to get LOA..???..... 5. shud he included me in his file as dependent but my real bro n sis r lived in vancouver BC ?? and also once my uncle whose also citizen of canada living in BC applied me for work permit n aftr dt recently i applied student visa but i got refusal n that is also in BC..?? plz suggest me shud i included in his file or not....?? 6. soon v getting merry may b ending of next yr ...plz tell me is there any couse of my presence in file ll be reason of refusal or shud he includ me wen he got medical?? plz tell me m soo confused n worried abt to having this decision ???.......i hope u hv ans?? n suggest me ryt n suitable way....i appreciat ur help.....thnx

Buddy,

I guess its the centralized file system when we talk about the ecas and i believe they might have a record for each applicant. So, when we submit out medicals it doesn't matter where it goes and gets updated to our record or e-file. So, once your medicals reach London office, they will verify and simply update your e-file so that gets reflected when you login with your client id into ecas. I guess colombo would look for an update to our file when they access it and if they find our medicals there, then proceed with further process of PPR or whatever.

Now, the time lag could differ from one case to another. So, don't bother take 2-4 weeks on an approximate and your results will get updated.

I have not received my PPR yet but counting on it. My passport is expiring next March -2014 so i got a new pp. Updated with the colombo guys, i guess that would add to the delay a bit more.

Medicals get uploaded to an international system and a notification is sent to the local office once your medicals have been processed.

I have sent via bluedart express delivery courier. It was delivered on Monday. I sent the passports, two photos of self and dependendts, a covering letter and printout of the email received from Colombo office
