Its a request please keep ur language soft in this forum.Seniors of cvo please guide sidhuji in this wait.

Thanks for replying. Bro its been 68 days since my file got transferred to Visa Office :o. That explains my restlessness. Please refer to forum member named goldy710 , he got his Medical Request 9 days after his file was received at Visa Office.

Also, with all due respect, if you don't like my language, i suggest you ignore my posts & don't read them. The language used in these posts is not personal & is generic, so i don't see a logic in you getting upset about. :)

Relax karo.

:'( >:(

It is two months since NDVO is holding my passports without any update.. I don't know what is happening and what is causing the delay. It has spoiled my career and wife had to quit her job.

Every step of this stupid process is a pain. If u don't get PPR then it is a pain. if you do get PPR then also it is a pain.

I feel if someone wants to have heart disease then he should apply for Canadian PR in ND. Really pathetic. Worst of all is no update. What is happening? Why the delay? Have I missed anything ? No just stupid silence and delay.

I agree sir. The process is not transparent at all.
Two applications with 99.99% similarity have processing times that vary hugely !! :o & there is no explanation or logic to explain it.

The whole process is like a black hole. ???

Hi Friends,

What is the method of verification of Visa Office for verifying/confirming/cross-checking of applicant's credentials? By credentials i mean - Education, Employment, Security Check.

Once the application reaches Visa Office in applicant's country of residence (Which in my case is New Delhi Visa Office, India). How does the Visa Office verify all these?

1. Does the visa office writes e-mails to Applicant's educational institutes, Employer? or they contact them by phone calls? Or they write formal letters asking for verification?
2. Does the visa office verify all the credentials i.e. Educational, Employment & Security Check? Or the verify only one these.

Please clarify the above mentioned questions.
I humbly appreciate all the responses in advance.

Thanks & Regards,
SIDHU

I agree. But I feel it is not their fault. May be it is because of the the huge number of applications. They might just be having too many people to worry about. I guess there is some kind of queue and if something is missing in our file then the file gets scheduled for some future day. Missing thing could be because of our fault also.

Anyways, hope god gives me and others in the same situation strength to pass through this phase. Also, hope god gives NDVO sense to provide more frequent updates.

As per my understanding the process varies according to the Province, Visa Officer's judgement and the applicant's profile also. Generally I guess they hire a background check agency who conducts these checks. But as I mentioned depending on the Province's guidelines and VO it may vary. There are many ways they can verify the details apart from calling and/or writing.
Also, I guess security check is a must for everybody. Educational and Experience may vary.
