its been almost 2 months that our( me, deepsukh, winnipeg13 and gat)ecas status changed to in process but no MR/PPR/RPRF yet. Wats wrong with our files? Why s t taking such a long time?

Like I said in one my post earlier. Their processing time begins from the time your ecas changes to "we started processing your application on.......". They actually dont wait for your PP to reach and then start the processing. So, in his case, they would've started processing from 11th Oct itself. When they receive fee and passports, etc... they simply take that and continue their processing.

So, we can say it has taken almost 3 months for him from the day his ecas changed to "in-process". Same for you and everyone, I guess. So, I think, I am going back to what KB and others said... it is indeed taking 3 months from the day ecas changes to "in-process".

Just my 2 cents.. may be wrong here...

I just saw that Pratha got MR in oct and dont know why he submitted PP in 20th Nov...but seems 3 months at least for DM.
Very very disappointing.....I havent crossed even 1 month of submission of my PP and wondering that how will I pass 3 months.
This is very frustrating. Still need to convince my heart and keep on waiting....

Hi Dipan - totally understand and its indeed very frustrating... but cant help. Need to have patience. Just concentrate on your job.

I think, passport submitting late or early has no effect on our processing times. Pls count 3 months from "in-process" date.

Infact, now I am regretting coming to India for submitting. I could've done medical, fee, etc from Canada and waited till they themselves ask for passport or DM status changes and then come just to submit the passport. I could've kept a covering letter saying that I am working in Canada and cannot come now. I will come when DM status changes.

Anyway, too late now... i too have to wait like others

I have seen ppl who didnt get the 3rd Medical received line, but got DM!! So, cant really say. May be, they are doing certain background checks, etc and then they will issue MR for you - which is actually good since there wont be much processing after you receive MR as most of your processing would've completed already.....

Have you written to NDVO?? (i see that you completed 6 months from 2nd AOR, so you have all rights to ask NDVO now).

Just a small update from my side - got a call from CIIP folks yesterday and they confirmed 2 seats for Jan 21st Bangalore session of CIIP. So, myself and wife will attend.

I have already sent a mail during second week of dec updating my wife's and daughter's new passport details. At that time put a query regarding the status change and no MR. But no reply for that.

now planning to send a query mail again after Jan 17th as ill be completing 6 months after 2nd AOR.

Does travel history delays the processing of files?

Excellent question. That makes me ask - Which countries you visited in your past 5-6 yrs? They have certain concerns about ppl visiting certain countries.

Been in UK for 3 years and visited france, swiss, germany, uae and singapore as tourist.

Dont think, you have anything to be concerned with your Travel history. Looks fine.

When was your UK stay for 3 yrs?? Was it very recent?? Did they ask any PCC for UK as well??

They didnt ask specifically but I ve sent.
Last year we came back from uk.

I was in Saudi 15 years before, they will ask for pcc now?

May not ask PCC, but they will verify your activities for sure....for eg., calling Saudi immigration and asking if this person really was there and any cases/issues, etc... (they may not call u).

Like I said, they may do this for certain countries (I dont want to take names here).
