Hi everyone....please suggest i am in big dilemma....

As i have already mentioned in my previous posts that my passport is about to expire and i got to renew it..

Now the case is that address in my current passport is my permanent address(Punjab address), but now i am residing in karnataka because of my work and in case i apply for renewal in bangalore, the address that will be printed on my new passport will be my present address(Karnataka address).

Does that make any difference to the canadian embassy at any step in the progress of my application?
What do you suggest where shall i apply for renewal of my passport? Chandigarh or bangalore?

Buddy , i have also in Bangalore, but i have renewed my and my family passports at my Home town (Punjab) . If you renew from bangalore it will take time for Police clearance . approx 3 months (as you very well aware the Police inquiry). Interstate Police inquiry will always take time perhaps all the system is online but they required hard copy also.

My Exp.. I went to my home town and i applied their for renewal and with in a week i will get back my passport in my hand via Speed Post .
and also went local police station for Inquiry with Village Lambardar.


It's better to do it where you feel comfort.

I am not sure if I am the right person to be on this thread, however I notice we all are NDVO applicatants. The biggest blunder of my life, I have done in Nov, 2012 by sending my application to NDVO.. I am an inside Canada BC PNP applicant. Kindly, allow me if I am suitable with you fellow applicatnts.


Below are my Details:

Name : Ess P.
Visa Office: New Delhi.
Number of dependents: 0.
NOC: 6311.
Applied from: Canada.
Stream: BC PNP.
Mode of payment: Bank Draft.
Nominee Application Date: 28,Aug,2012.
Nomination Date: 31,Oct,2012.
Application received: 26,Nov,2012.
Payment Realization Date: 27,Dec,2012.
Duration b/w app and DD: 31 Days.
AOR from CIO: 18,Jan,2013 ( Is this the email where you receive an acknowledgement receipt of your payment and application forwarded to Visa office for further processing).
Duration Application AOR: 53 Days.
AOR from Visa Office: Not received yet.
Medical Request: 27,Jan,2013.
Duration between AOR and MR: 9 days.
Medical Done: 29,Jan,2013 in New Delhi, India.
Medical reports sent from Doc to CIO: This is the biggest question I have, my medical results have not been sent to CIO, It has been sent to New Delhi Visa Office. Is this Ok?.
ECAS update: It has not been Updated, It says application received on 26, Nov, 2012.


Any suggestion or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Could you please tell us that from where did you get the medical request . Is it from CIO or from some VO ? There must be a address on the medical request where you were supposed to send the medical request .. Please share that address with us or you can also share the email address from which you had got that medical request ..
You can also send an email to CIO to enquire about the second AOR and ur VO .

Hello Deepak,

I got the Medical Request from CIO through the email ID Client-update-mise-a-jour@cic.gc.ca. There was no address mentioned on the MR, I had sent a few Emails to CIO and NDVO but they haven't replied me anything yet.

I don't know how far I am with my Case??

Hi guys,

I am new to this blog. But i thought i should share my time lines with you. I will start with my AOR

Category : SINP PNP
First AOR by CIC : 21st Feb 2013
Second AOR from Colombo : 17th Apr 2013
Medicals : Today (02nd May 2013)

Also they requested me to submit some documents like educational certs, IELTS score etc.. SINP nominees falling under NOC code other than C & D need not take the IELTS according to SINP. So, i replied back with the same (fingers crossed).

My medicals are on 09th May, so hoping for the best. All the best for you guys..
