Regarding the Canada address on eCAS page, I can't see such address anywhere on this page,

Any update from your side. Wish that you get your passports quickly with maple leaf.

Did you get your Canada Address updated on your Ecas Status. Please update me on this. I am also waiting for my passports since June.

You should have two addresses in your Ecas page. One should be your Local Indian Mailing Address and the new one should be your Destination Province name on your ecas status page. Please update me on this.

After going through so many hurdles, finally, by God's Grace, I got my first AOR today. Really very happy for this...

I am waiting for my passports to come back since June.... Decision was done on 28th May ... don't know what to expect..

Looking at this governement is ready to pay a inch part of demand and seems like government will resolve this issue soon. hopefully in 1-2 weeks time. i am sure all process will be back in tract by next week.

The union has agreed to the government’s offer of 1.5-per-cent wage hikes, and agreed to scrap severance for staff who leave voluntarily. However, the union wants the increase applied to a pay scale equal to that of other departments, a difference that ranges from $3,000 a year to $14,000 a year per employee. Closing the gap would cost as much as $3-million a year, the union says.

Mr. Clement said the deal, as proposed, is similar to other public-sector contracts and left little room for compromise. “I think the message is: accept our offer,” he said.

Mr. Edwards said the strike is a matter of fairness. “This is not an ideological battle,” he said. “This is not an issue of a left or right. This is about paying diplomats the same as [is] paid to other government professionals.”

Even I was asked for additional documents. These are standard docs they are asking. I didn't submit the docs while applying to CIO. But got a mail from Colombo to submit the same with a timeline of 1 month. What I get from reading other members post is that some guys who had submitted docs to CIO earlier were asked to submit again. So I guess its all random.....

Better to keep them ready as it will save time.

I just hope this matter gets resolved soon.

Its such a coincidence that when we are nearing the end of this journey. The people who matter the most "Immigration Officers" go on strike. Waiting for so many years then facing this hurdle which v cant do anything about.

I feel this experience will make us all more stronger to achieve our desired dreams.
