Totally agreed... I have submitted being oversea and I m stuck with job.

i wish i would have submitted my passport from UAE it self instead of coming to India.....

I have send my PP through friend to india and then courier to CIC... only disadvantage is i cannot move during emergency... as this people are not even reply emails or answering queries on phone... but going to india for stamping will be months and employer will not allow that flexibility...

NDVO cannot courier your passport outside the country. After stamping your passport will get delivered at your residence address in India.... Your alternative correspondence address.

Buy a draft either in cad or inr send it . Do not send by any other means . Follow instructions as per ndvo website. I wanted to do online my lawyer refused and said to do it this way. You can verify with the bank once it is encashed . In my case it was inr i got confirmation from bank after three weeks

I guess it has to be returned back with a friend giving him an authorization letter. The same way as it is sent to India. I heard some people did that successfully. Its not an offense what i believe. Please go through this *** http://passport.gov.in/cpv/Instructions.htm ***
They only say "Passports should not be sent out to any country by post". Again, that my understanding and as per my analysis.

I mailed both of them... Colombo replied even when I dropped a mail to Colombo after. Two days of dropping it to ndvo...
