Regardless kung me PNP na me job offer - ang titingnan mo is - gagamitin mo ba ang PNP nomination mo para maging LMIA-exempt ka, or kukuha ka ng LMIA at bagong LMIA ang gagamitin mo sa WP application/extension mo?
Simulan natin - yung old WP mo (expiring May 2015), via LMIA? Kung via LMIA - then hindi ka apektado nitong new rules sa ngayon.
However, kapag nag-file ka ng extension ng WP mo ano ang gagamitin mo sa WP application:
1. Kung WP extension with a new LMIA - hindi ka pa rin apektado
2. Kung WP application using PNP nomination - under ka ng LMIA-exemption (no LMIA needed) - apektado ka AFTER 21 Feb.
So in your case, pag sa April/May ka may-aaply ng bagong WP, at gagamitin mo ang PNP nomination mo as basis ng WP application mo
1. papasok ka under LMIA exemption (Foreign worker nominated by a province/territory)
2. pero lagpas ka na sa 21 Feb, so una mong gagawin - mamili ka ano ang aaplyan mo - BOWP or employer-restricted ("closed") WP
Kung employer-restricted:
a) Employer mo me kailangan gawin - ito yung nakasaad sa new notice:
- submit information about their business or organization,
- submit the Offer of Employment form,
b) Employer mo me kailangan bayaran - ito ang nakasaad sa new rules:
- and pay a fee to Citizenship and Immigration Canada; $230 for "employer compliance" for the worker to get an employer-restricted (so-called "closed") work permit
Kung BOWP:
a) Applicant kailangan magbayad ng karagdagang $100 maliban sa $155 na WP application fee.
