Actually me discussion na nya - under a separate thread...eto himayin natin:

Itong new notice:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/2015-02-09.asp

1. Will be effective 21 Feb 2015
2. Two parts ito
- For employers hiring workers through LMIA-exempt classes, me dagdag na requirements ng documentation plus new fees

3. Para sa mga merong PNP nomination, ang tatamaan will be:
- applying for employer-specific WPs (so-called "closed" WPs) and are LMIA-exempt (those applying with a nomination certificate/and or letter of support, in lieu of an LMIA)
- those with an a PR application already underway and applying for open work permits to allow them to wait the completion of their application (i.e. BOWP)

4. After 21 Feb 2015
For the employer naman: BEFORE the worker applies for a WP - kailangan nagawa na ito:
- submit information about their business or organization,
- submit the Offer of Employment form,
- and pay a fee to Citizenship and Immigration Canada; $230 for "employer compliance" for the worker to get an employer-restricted (so-called "closed") work permit (dagdag na babayaran ng employer)

For the WP applicant:
- Kung application for Work Permit (Including extensions, and kahit pa under LMIA or LMIA-exempt) = $155 (walang pagbabago)
- Pero kung applying for an open WP - New additional fee for open work permit = $100 (Nagbago)

So kung mag-aaply ka ng BOWP (after 21 Feb) - ang total mo will be WP Application Fee + new OWP Fee = $255

Itong new rules will be for the for:
- employers who intend on hiring employees under LMIA-exempt streams, na wala pang WP/authorization to work. Kaya ang tatamaan talaga is yung mga nominated at kukuha ng WP using nomination (letter of support, etc.)

The employer compliance fee does not apply to employers hiring foreign nationals who have open work permits. Open work permits allow the holder to work for any Canadian employer.

Note: Yung new fee for open work permits tatamaan din ang ibang LMIA-exempt na WP classes (like IEC, PGWP, SOWP, etc.)

Regardless kung me PNP na me job offer - ang titingnan mo is - gagamitin mo ba ang PNP nomination mo para maging LMIA-exempt ka, or kukuha ka ng LMIA at bagong LMIA ang gagamitin mo sa WP application/extension mo?

Simulan natin - yung old WP mo (expiring May 2015), via LMIA?

1. Kung WP extension with a new LMIA - hindi ka pa rin apektado
2. Kung WP application using PNP nomination - under ka ng LMIA-exemption (no LMIA needed) - apektado ka AFTER 21 Feb.

So in your case, pag sa April/May ka may-aaply ng bagong WP, at gagamitin mo ang PNP nomination mo as basis ng WP application mo
1. papasok ka under LMIA exemption (Foreign worker nominated by a province/territory)
2. pero lagpas ka na sa 21 Feb, so una mong gagawin - mamili ka ano ang aaplyan mo - BOWP or employer-restricted ("closed") WP

Kung employer-restricted:
a) Employer mo me kailangan gawin - ito yung nakasaad sa new notice:
- submit information about their business or organization,
- submit the Offer of Employment form,

b) Employer mo me kailangan bayaran - ito ang nakasaad sa new rules:
- and pay a fee to Citizenship and Immigration Canada; $230 for "employer compliance" for the worker to get an employer-restricted (so-called "closed") work permit

Eto options mo:

- di mo kailangan ng work support letter
