Hi,

Anong address nagmula ang mga medical request at request for payment of RPRF mo? Can you paste the address in the letters as well as the source email address kung saan nagmula ang mga ito?

It does not mean kasi that by specifying Ottawa as your visa office sa application mo - sa CPP-O na mapupunta ang application mo. That decision is made by the CIO - which visa office is best placed to process your application even if another office has been requested. I specified Ottawa when I applied, considering nasa Canada na din ako at that time and has been for a year and a half (establishing residency) before sending out my application. But my application was sent to CEM for processing.

Kaya we need to know saan nagmula ang mga correspondence - that will give us an indication where your VO is. From there, we can see how to proceed.

If you are in Canada (assuming ito ang rason bakit mo pinili ang Ottawa) - nag-apply ka na ba to get GCMS/ATIP notes on your application? See here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/index.asp

eto po yung RPRF email sakin..eto lang yung last part

Reminder: Passports for you and all accompanying family members must be valid at the time of visa issuance. If your passports have expired or will be expiring within the next 6 months, you must apply for new passports as soon as possible. Do not submit passports until CIC requests them.

Sincerely,

hi guys, its been almost a month since my status changed to "in process" and we have yet to receive a PPR. we are already getting nervous, do any of you have the same situation? is there a chance we might get denied at this stage?

we got an invitation to CIIP a few weeks back and we have confirmed the schedule this july. is this a positive sign? what comes first a "decision made" status or PPR? please help, we really need to know so that it can ease up the nervousness that we are experiencing right now. thanks in advance!!

Apply for GCMS notes as soon as possible to get clarity on where your VO is. It is CIO-NS (which is not a processing centre) that is corresponding with you, but it is unsure if this is your VO. Trying to get a response with CIO-NS are expected to be unsuccessful - they have been unresponsive on further queries from previous and current posts here in the forum.

2nd time I have seen this in a matter of weeks that CIO-NS is providing correspondence - and both of you requested Ottawa as the VO. It is easier to get information from a visa office, but from offices here in Canada - it is not that simple. So get GCMS notes.

Thanks ragluf... appreciate it... natatandaan ko na ni-remind mo rin si itguy about the PDOS.

I already downloaded the needed forms from CFO website and read about the requirements.

God bless!

To Sir ragluf,

Nanghinayang nga po ako eh, na hindi muna ako nagtanong sa inyo. Sana nga po ganon ang nailagay ko sa e-mail. Pero sir, is it ok kaya if I will send another e-mail to them?
So much thanks sir, for your help...

Thank, thank you very much sir for the detailed explanation. However, I mailed MPNP last Thursday and PM ko po sa inyo the content if I need to make follow-up e-mail to them.

Hi there, I have the same case with ya. I got In Process line on May 29th 2014 and then Medical received on June 19th 2014 but there is no PPR yet. I guess my case will take a bit longer because I lived in 03 different countries (more than 6 months) that leads to longer processing time for criminality and security checks. It's really uncertain unless we order Caips Notes but at this stage it doesnt seem to be a good idea. Have you received Medical Received yet from the Ecas?

Thanks for this ragluf! It was one of the topics discussed during my PDOS yesterday.

Clarify ko po pala, I have an external drive at may mga naka-store na downloaded movies and series. Must I delete all these? Sabi daw bawal, pero are they going to check each external drive? Wala lang, sayang ang favorite series ko. Hehe

@cebugirl - Don't worry, pwede mo namang i-download yan online once you are in Canada... don't take the risk. Make sure din, if you are bringing a laptop, na walang pirated software or movie.

Did not have any problem bringing mine. Depends on how large the HDD is - better put it in the checked-in baggage. The more things accessible, the more things that can pique interest during inspection, so lessen the things that clutter your handcarry.

Just stay away from DVDs and censored* content on the laptop computer - so remove anything of that sort on the laptop HDD. You are landing and immigrating for the first time, so unless there is reason to have you and your belongings inspected further, they may not even reach the point they have to take a look at the contents of your baggage and external HDD.
