Even shoes, 1 for interview (essential yan of course), 1 for exercise and 1 for walking around (which I will wear on my flight).

And the rest are my pasalubongs na knitted scarves (handmade by me of course) and requested items by my sponsor.

For those already in Canada, may I ask where you bought your CAD$?

I tried asking a money exchange dealer but they only sell US$, they said if no one exchanges CAD$ with them, they can't sell any. Haven't tried other money exchange yet but if any of you know a good money exchange, please advise.

TIA

Better to email them, so that you have proof that you requested for an extension.

State mo lang sa subject yung UCI# or Embassy# and Request for Extension of Passport Request as your subject.

Hi Wolfrain,

I suggest you e-mail CIO to direct your
files to CEM instead of waiting aor from SG.
SGVO usually takes longer time to issue aor
& seldom reply to inquiries. It would be more
difficult to request for transfer once your
files are in SG.

Good Luck.

Hi Mils,

What should I include in the email? UCI? Phil address?
Won't there be a problem when sending passports overseas?

Thanks...

Tabs, if you are near the area try BPI @ Alabang Town Center. We used to go there whenever we had business travel though that was circa 2006.

Hi Wolf,

You need to include your file# and/or UCI#
when you send your e-mail request for CIO to
send your files to CEM instead of SGVO. Im sure
you had selected CEM as your VO.

For the address, it doesn't matter what's your address
in ECAS but CEM usually ask you to provide
your address in PH if your files will be transferred from
CEM to SGVO. In my case i did provide them
my add in PH after our our files was transferred but
until now the ecas still shows my add in SG.

I sent our Passports from SG to CEM via dhl & opted to
return the PPs thru courier collect. I hope there will be
no issue upon return after visa is issued. You can also
provide the return address in PH where CEM
will send back your passport if you want it this way.

Hope this helps. All the best

It's the email address that sent you the passport request.

Thanks, will check them out. Meron din BPI sa ATC mismo eh. Although, I heard, you must have a BPI account to be able to buy CAD$.

Hi Mils,

I chose SG as my visa office. I think my docs are on their way to SGVO if it is not here already. Anyway, I will just wait for a month and if I don't hear from SGVO, I will email CIC to transfer my docs to CEM. Let me know if you encounter any problems with the courier. Thanks a lot...

Hi All,

Anyone who experienced sending their
passports to CEM for visa stamping from overseas
and then returned via international
courier collect.

How long did it take to return
your passports?

Thanks.

I was banking with UCPB at that time and did not have an account with them. Perhaps you can try calling them first? Good luck!

Does the sponsor have to be tenured for him/her to sponsor somebody for provincial nomination? In my case, my brother works part-time. My sister-in-law works also part-time but longer hours and much bigger salary compared with my brother. Can both of them sponsor me? Will my status of my brother (part-time) affect my application?

I hope the seniors can answer.. TIA.
