Hi isaiahchase, I'm obviously from Cebu also though I'm assigned here only for a year. Yong DHL near victoria hotel ba yan (street at the back of robinsons Fuente) accepted my document without a contact person. Try it there. Kung ayaw, there's another mail and more store in Fuente circle that has fedex, wala din at ang required contact person. God bless sa application!

heheh san kah sa cebu? salamat sah info. we will be mailing it by tomorow. hopefully they will accept the package. sila na ba ang nag proprovide nang stamp? :D

No stamp needed, isaiahchase, they will put your envelope in a plastic container where you will put the addressee, etc, similar to that red container of LBC. In DHL, I was asked of a contact person, but did not insist when I said there's none.

God bless!

CIIP is not mandatory but very informative specially to newcomers in Canada.
About PPR below is my timeline just for your idea, it may be earlier in your part:

It's really a case to case basis. In my situation I had a shorter wait than kelotz.

Medicals Received : 17 January 2014
PPR: 3 February 2014

7 days

Are leaving alone sir? bout my case, I'll be bringing my whole family, does it take longer time to process if the whole family will migrate?

Thanks better life! I need that a lot. You're for MR now? God bless!

waiting for MR... hopefully soon....

Hi Ms. Tabs, have you booked your flight yet?

Anyone here who can suggest the cheapest fare to Canada? thanks :)

thanks salbakuta, ragluf, kelotz, pebbles, and everyone in this forum!

thank God for our safe landing in British Columbia last 23 February 2014.

everything went well except for the one hour delay in the PAL flight at NAIA.

and the delay to the immigration border at YVR.

the immigration officers in YVR are all so beautiful, except to their matatapang na tindig at mala masculine na boses.

based on our experience with them, kailangan na magsalita tayo ng malinaw at malakas na enough para maintindihan nila.

like na like nila ang mga diretso at totoong sagot natin.

kanina, naka apply na kami mag anak ng SIN.

at ang healthcare, for the waiting period of 2 months na lang since according to our fil canadian friend here ay buong Feb umpisa namin, and ends up on

with this, it is easier for us to clear up our draft in a short period of time. so hanap kayo ng ka tie up ng bank nyo dito sa bank nyo sa atin diyan sa pinas.

sa anak kong 18 years old, we are advised to go to Adult Education since hindi na i aaccept ng Burnaby Mountain ang aking bunso dahil lagpas na siya sa edad.

so, tomorrow is the right time to look for her school since malapit na ang Spring Semester.

umuulang ng snow patuloy dito ngayon sa BC. manipis lang. pero thank God, tolerable pa naman ang lamig sa 4 degrees. parang Baguio lang na may snow. hehehe

hope this helps all of you mga minamahal naming ka forum!
