Guys, PPV arrived today without any changes on my ECAS to DM.

So happy, but the expiration of my visa is 8 May 2014, why is that? I thought it is based on the medicals? Should I get in touch with the embassy regarding this?

First - Congratulations on getting PPV. So the wait is over!

2nd - validity of visa is typically and for most it is 1 year counted from medicals received date. Any significance of dates in May in your application data? It won't hurt to ask - send a query given that there was no prior communication in your PPR letter citing validity dates as most PPRs do put in. I have been trying to recall known members who may have had that but so far I cannot recall anyone with such a short validity date. Less that 3months to landing is doable but quite short.

Thanks ragluf. Yes, it seems that my application is not the smoothest one ever.

Although I intend to land in April, before Easter, obviously, I don't want to have any additional problems just in case there are flight cancellations or any kind of delays.

My COPR also states 8 May 2015. I will email them and see what their response is.

PPV delivered sa house namin. Yey! The long wait is over. Thanks to my canadavisa family for answering my queries and for making this waiting game less stressful for us dreamers.

october pa sa amin.. september 27 kasi kame nag pa medical.. try mo na lang e email si CEM.. tapos e scan mo copr mo and visa mo.. highlight mo date para makita nila agad..

guys ask ko lang po opinion ninyo. PPR na po kasi ako last week 6 feb 2014, kaya lang nag renew po ako ng passport last month sa phil embassy, unfortunately ang tentative release ay feb 27, 2014. pede ko po ba i-send nalang muna yung old passport ko? salamat po sa mga sasagot.

may palugit naman sila ng 30 days to submit the required data... so march 6 pa yung last day noon.. so makakahabol ka pa kasi 1 days delivery lang naman ang DHL... DHL(wwwexpress) kasi yung ginamit ko pag send ng PPs and docs..

antay antay din tayo ng ibang may mag suggest...
