Usually, they will provide you an email with their available dates (both CIIP and COA).

Wait for 3-4 days, you will receive an email from both. Usually, mas mabilis sumagot yung COA.

It's fun and make sure you have your questions ready if you have any. And also, bring a sweater or shawl, it's freezing in the offices. As if they are trying to tell you, 'Get used to it, it's cold in Canada'. :D

PPR na ako!!!

Kaya lang may additional documents. I was asked to get a new NBI clearance as stated on my Birth Certificate.

Instead of my first name Maria, it should be Ma.

I am a little worried because my passport states Maria but my birth certificate states Ma.

Will this cause any problems for me? Mr. Ragluf any inputs?

Oh and also, the deadline is for 29 February 2014, and I will go on Monday for NBI this 3 February, this will take 3 weeks for me because I am always a 'HIT'. Should I request for an extension after I receive my receipt from NBI?

GRATZ! ;D ;D ;D As I know, ALL IMMIGRANTS is a "HIT" pag nag-apply ng NBI Clearance...

Thank you. Just a slight delay, but will get there eventually.

Good question! I hope someone can shed a light on this. I have a form with the PPR, perhaps they will copy the name I wrote on that form.

Mr. Ragluf, any comments?

Congrats tabs... VISA na yan ;) ;) ;)... dont worry about the ma. or maria issue, just provide the documents they are requiring, its CEM's part of background checking. Maria as you indicated on your PP and application will prevail. and don't forget to submit also 2 (each ) recent visa photos.

Thanks. On the bright side, everyone knows I am female in the forum. LoL

Definitely will comply and I won't forget the photographs.

How long did it take until you guys got 'in process' on ECAS after PPR email?

Mine still have 2 lines on my ECAS.
