Hi. 1. Just go to this website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index-can.asp
2. Choose Check Application Status
3. Select application Type : Permanent resident from outside canada click GO
4. Choose which CAtegory did you apply for click arrow down and choose Provincial nominee click Submit
5. click Check application status
6. Just check the box for the security and click continue
7. A new window will pop up and just fill out the following:
Identification type : you can use your UCI ( universal client id )
Identification number : input here your UCI number
Surname/Family name
Date of birth:
Country of citizenship
and click continue
You can see now the status of your application. Click the word IN PROCESS and it will show you detailed status.

Hope this help...

Hi guys,

I got my second email (MR) with instructions. Both emails state that I have 60 days to comply. Although I want to do my medicals as early as possible, I don't want to also rush because I just had surgery. I have read in most threads that they are given 30 days. Or they have changed the time limit? Any thoughts?

Time limits are unique for each applicant although the most common is 30days. Mine was 60days also ... :).

Take it as it is, it give you more time to heal after surgery and prepare for the IME. Note reading closely in the instructions that the 60 day limit or any MR/IME limit specifies only to "make arrangements" or schedule your IME, not up to the time when MR/IME results should be sent and received at CEM/CIC. I read it as to schedule and complete the IME within the period specified in the instructions, but does not include the submission of IME/MR results to CEM/CIC.

They refer to the same now (RPRF = "Landing" Fee)

The "Landing Fee" was the old name for all fees after the Application Processing Fee - it was known as Right of Landing Fee. Way before the Landing Fee was $975 and through several changes over the years was reduced to its present amount of $490 and now termed as the Right of Permanent Residence Fee or what we know was RPRF.

The only fees for a PR application are the one listed in the official guides:

Hi sir ragluf, kindly help me what the best thing to do. I'm the principal applicant. I have 4 kids, yun eldest ko sa 1st husband ko who passed away. Then my husband now legally adopted my eldest son. Patapos na yun proseso ng changing of surname, mga 2 months pa para ma issue yun new birth cert nya. We will inform sana ang embassy kapag me new birth cert na sya using my husband surname, para pag nirequest ng new passport puede na kasi available na yun birth cert. We received our PPR today, do we need to submit our passports and inform them? Baka ma-delay yun visa namin. We have 30 days to submit our passports. Hope you will help me with this. I've been asking this situation for 3x and no one reply. Thanks in advance and god bless..

PM sent...
