Yes - PDOS is the only compulsory seminar.

However, even if CIIP and COA are voluntary - please take advantage of these as they will provide you with the wealth of information on settling down and integrating.

thank you! :)

Anybody here who have submitted Police Clearances to CEM WITHOUT a REQUEST from them??? I have not included PC's in my application as I have not secured them yet when I forwarded my file to CIO.

Btw, FINALLY I received my MR yesterday! Hindi na hinintay ng CEM na ma-receive yung PAPER file ko from ADVO...they have acted upon based on my ELECTRONIC file. Expected ko...by 3rd week of Nov. pa! Maagang pinag-halloween ni "BOSS" ang mga taga-CEM. HE sent a GHOST this early but the HOLY ONE!!! THANKS "BOSS"!!! ;D ;D ;D

Perhaps BPinoy did. Based on our discussions.

A or B? Does it look like this?

Declaring a common-law partner now means your partner will have to go through the same admissibility checks as you did during the application process; your partner needs to submit the forms for the dependent/spouse adding into your current application. You can use Appendix A (nothing specified that prohibits you from not using it), but should also include a letter informing formally CEM/CIC of the change in your status from that of single to common-law. This is to comply with the instructions in your PPR letter:

Warning - Change of Status

Should any of the following circumstances apply to you (or any person included in your application), you must inform this office in writing immediately for further action:

change in marital status by reason of marriage, divorce, separation, annulment or death;

ang ginamit ko na mailing address is sa canada, tapos ang residential address naman dito sa pinas.

hope this help. and good luck on your PR application!

Ganyan din ang ginawa ko... I did write CEM as my preferred VO but my application ended-up in ADVO. CIO rin ang nagdedecide kung saang VO ipaprocess. Ragluf explains it quite extensively dito sa thread na ito...perhaps 3 months back. Anyway, if you're a family man and living alone in KSA while your family resides in Manila...most probably your file will be forwarded to CEM. If you're still a bachelor...malamang sa ADVO ang bgsak nyan especially if you're living in KSA for quite a number of years.

THANKS a lot Ragluf! Water under the bridge now...since I received an email today from CEM requesting the PC's. Unfortunately, they require NBI clearance secured within the last six months. January ko pa nakuha yung NBI ko...so kukuha uli ng bago. Thanks for the input. ;D ;D ;D
