Now wala pa snow, sabi ng karamihan delayed daw ang snow ngayon, they are basing from last year na Oct 10 eh fully covered na ng snow ang paligid.
Still prepare your winter gears.
Good luck.

thanks for sharing this...

Tanong ko lang po,

meron po kasi nagsabi sa akin na kapag ang applicant eh nasa labas ng pilipinas at i submit na yung application sa CIC, dapat daw meron representative sa pinas.. at yung form na use a representative(unpaid representative) eh dapat fill up nung tao na nasa pinas..

current residence ng applicant is Saudi arabia.

reason po daw eh para diretso sa CEM yung application at hindi dun sa lugar kung san nakatira yung principal applicant,

Anyone who can share their thoughts?? many thanks.

There is no guarantee that simply filing IMM 5476E - Use of a Representative, remands the processing of your application to the VO where the representative is located. It simply means you/the applicant, appoints a representative that will officially transact with CIC/VO on your behalf. The representative can inquire/submit/or even correspond with CIC/VO.

If you follow the exchanges on that topic in the thread, there are possible ways to request transfer of the application to a VO aside from where the applicant is lawfully admitted. If upon AOR you see it has been sent to KSA, then you can request to have file transfer to CEM.

Even at the onset of the application itself - the applicant may declare that the intention/preference is to have the application processed at CEM - my two cents, aside to filling out the question to the office requested in form IMM0008, is to create a preface letter to Form IMM0008 indicating specifically the preference to have it processed in CEM, and providing very good reasons why CEM is being preferred as the VO chosen.

This way when the officer looks at the application, upon looking at IMM0008, they see the preface letter first requesting CEM as the VO.

wow, I salute you sir ragluf, thank you for the information that you have shared to me. it really helps especially on my case as I'm currently preparing my documents for CIC while waiting for my LOA.

one reason I have in mind if I will include an explanation letter, why I choose CEM as my VO is because of my work status in saudi arabia which is in contractual basis only and I am not able to stay longer in this country for a long time because I'm just a single applicant and I don't have dependents but my family(my mom and big brother are living in PH).

MANY MANY THANKS FOR THIS wonderful message.

Hello IT GUY,

I agree to that, it is not a guarantee. As what you know I have appointed a representative in Manila bec I have chosen CEM as VO. They have senr the AOR-CIO to my sister's address who is in Manila and yet didnt send my file to CEM but SGVO. When SGVO sent the AOR, still , to my sister's email."by stating this email ( representative) you agree that all the correspondence will be sent to this email address. " by appointing a representative" you are allowing this person to communicate and transact on you behalf." Though one of our groupmate who is in SG used a rep in MLA and was immediately granted to use CEM as VO , the way I looked at it is, bec the Hubby is a SG PR but not the daughter and wife. For the other case, the whole family is not a PR as Sir A is an employment pass holder. For Miss C, she is also an employment pass holder and stated that she will not ve renewing her contract. They sent my file to sgvo simply bec my whole family has been here for 11 yrs and all are SG PR.
I am still hoping that they will grant my request for transfer. The letter of explanation why you are chosing CEM might help you a lot. Send together with the cio apps, rather than asking a transfer bec the chance is so slim God Bless you.
