Hi Guys! Congrats to those who got their passports back.

Question: How do you plan to bring your hard-earned savings to Canada?
I'm thinking of 20% cash and 80% demand draft/bank draft of the required amount.

Problem is, I do not know how a demand draft/bank draft works. When we paid the RPRF using bank draft, the draft is drawn to a bank in Canada (Bank of Montreal, Branch of Toronto) and the payee is The Receiver General for Canada. When we requested for the draft in ADCB (my bank here), we did not provide them the address of the bank to where the draft has to be drawn. ADCB already has an address. Maybe because they are now very much aware of the so called Canadian draft, hence bank address is automatically generated. Not sure though...

In our case now, the draft must be drawn to a bank in Winnipeg, Manitoba as that is our final destination. But to which bank? I do not know. Of course, the payee should now be me.

Any accountant/banker there who might be able to help?

Considering we were talking about the additional documents requested from you mid-July - that was approx. 2 months from time of the additional docs request, I'd say is indeed fast.

They can still join the school year even if they arrive late - there are immigrant children who join mid-school year. Having been schooled in international schools before, and having good command of English, they will not have a hard time adjusting.

Most likely, they probably will get bored the first few days .

Paki sagot naman, sa FORM IMM 5669 Q. 7&8 about Personal & Education, hindi kasya kasi ang lahat ng detail ko dun sa table...san ba pweding itugtong yung ibang details ko.

On a separate sheet of paper - print your name (incl. Client ID) and form title/name, and the question number and then detail your answer. And then attach the separate piece of paper to your form during submission.

BTW - this instruction is also listed on the directions on top of the form/document, see the immediate top of the form:

If there is not enough space to provide all the necessary information, attach to this form a separate sheet of paper with further details. Print your name at the top of each additional sheet and indicate the form's title and the number of the question you are answering

My application is now IN PROCESS. They started processing my application last Sept 20. I just couldnt be any happier. I know di pa naman PPR, pero it meant a lot na naupdate application ko. Konting tiis na lang.
