When you submitted your passports, you have enclosed a return airway bill did you? Once your passports are ready, Aramex will deliver it to your given address and you will have to pay a certain amount (30.00 dhs.) before they can release the documents to you.

We'll book our flights to Canada from the Philippines. Might check with PAL office directly. We only plan to travel to Canada in March next year. I went to Aramex office directly and gave them our passports and other docs. I did not use a c4 nor a c5 envelope.

PPR - August 27. Sent docs thru ARAMEX - August 28 Received by Embassy - September 02 ECAS Decision Made - September 08 Now, waiting for our passports back. ;)

Thanks Ragluf. I'm just a silent observer. ADVO is not so bad after all when it comes to processing times. It took us 7 months from submission of application to CIC up to PPR. You're doing a great job helping out other applicants. Keep it up. You'll be rewarded for your good deeds.

I submitted 6 for each... 5 with name, date of birth and photo date was taken (written on the back side) and 1 is blank. I went back to the checklist previously given to us when we are about to submit the application to CIC. ;) I also made sure that the pictures were taken not more than six...

That's you and your fiance, my friend... not me. Why apply for Canada in the first place if you think you will not survive there? POSITIVE attitude will pull you up. Yes, there will be obstacles (it is given) but that won't stop me from hurdling. ;D

We've thought of that even before applying. You just have to have some guts. Obstacles may come through but always think POSITIVE. Ready yourself and don't listen to rumours. We have our own lives, our own destiny. We have conquered Dubai... In God's help, We will also conquer Canada. Mabuhay! :P
