Speaking of the seminar, a week after they requested additional documents they sent me an email to attend the pre-departure seminar. Problem is wala naman ako sa Manila ngayon. Share with us how it went if you don't mind

Hi Mystic_nayeli,if i were u wait u muna yung PPR mo bago ka magfile ng resignation mo since the visa is valid for 1 year so u have still time to prepare everything since nasa abroad ka or Mas maganda if ur company is allowing u to take ur passport to send to the VO Manila for visa is much better otherwise no choice kailangan kng umuwi ng Pinas. Good thing sa amin nataon na nasa bakasyon kmi dito nun kaya hawak nmin ang passport otherwise bka di ako nakapag comply sa given time ng VO na 60 days lang to submit the passport otherwise it will lead to refusal

Madali lng nmn ang PDOS sa Quirino Avenue half day lang yun and dapat maaga ka kasi may quota sila its mandatory na attend ka ng PDOs para malagyan ng sticker yung pasport mo to allow u to leave the Philippines. Advise ko rin sa u na umatend ng COA seminar malaking tulong sa lahat ng 1st time immigrant.

same case tayo, yung husband ko ang principal applicant pero ako (as spouse dependant) ang hiningan ng history from 1996 to 2005. may periods na homemaker ang nilagay ko, ang activity na nilagay ko job hunting, hopefully ma satisfy sila at wag na humingi ng details. goodluck to us!

4. Do not focus too much on WHAT and HOW (What should be submitted, What is requested, How you will answer, HOW will I submit), but think WHY was it asked in the first place.

Focus on this first:

Ø You indicated that you were a homemaker from November 2007 to October 2011. Please provide details of your activities during said period and include supporting documents if applicable. This must be received at this office by: 08/17/2013

Ok actually I asked around sa mga co-workers ko here (canadians - men and women) just to see what the reaction is if I asked the question - If the husband is unemployed and staying at home - is it right to call him a "homemaker"? Unanimous reaction - surprise and a doubtful pause. Unanimous answer: "Why homemaker? It is not used often here for that..."

Well kung ganito ang reakyon nila, dito siguro nagmula ang tanong sa iyo...

I sent my docs to CIC and received by M.Krszwda last May 21 2013, until now no AOR and as per checking with the bank demand draft not yer encashed too.

Im very worried if they will return my application since its my 59th day today.

we received the request last friday, july 12. i submitted my personal history same day din, kasi may record naman ako ng employement history ko since 1996 may gaps lang ng ilang months when i gave birth and resigned from my work, so nilagay ko homemaker, gave birth, unemployed. in your case kaya siguro husband mo kasi medyo matagal yung gap, ilang years din na homemaker so kelangan nila ng details in those years, what was he doing? include details kung nag travel, job hunting, hospitalized, nag self employed etc.

as indicated in the email you need to send the original copy by mail or courier, so walang option na i drop sa ofc. nila. for your own security mas maganda i courier mo na lang. so you can trace kung sino ang naka receive. goodluck sa atin!

when ka pala nag-submit ng PP mo sa CEM? kme nun jul9 nla nareceive..balitaan tyo ha.
