Don't you think it will compromise the security of our application infos which should be kept confidential since the website is not officialy affiliated with CIC? Just asking...

From what I have read in another thread, that is actually the fear of the many. I have also read that once your application reaches the "Decision Made" stage, your file details will be automatically deleted from their system. Not sure if this is true though. But I guess if you are religiously checking your ECAS and practically obsessing over your status and not letting an hour pass without checking on it, just like me ;D, then you would not be needing that ECAS tracker tool hehehe, just a thought po. :)

Ayen if its ok and i think its helpful for those waiting for PPR to share what the things/documents that we have to prepare if we received PPR. HOPE you can share it here..Salamat at congrats. So happy for all who already received their PPR.

Hi there akinito,
Just 2 recent photos (same photo specifications from the immigration) and some form (Appendix A) that came along with my PPR. Gladly, they didn't ask for additional docs other than our passports. Thanks by the way for all the warm wishes. I pray yours and those still waiting for PPR will come soon.
:)

Hello kababayans!
Been away for a week-long vacay to Mindanao. Went back to my roots (or at least my mom's) and introduced my family to my relatives before we finally leave for winter wonderland.
Congratulations to iam_ayen, ninonhet, shelalaine, tweety05 and everyone who received good news.
Sorry Ayen di ko na nasagot yung pm mo, but I'm so glad you finally received your PPR!
Mukhang si Ma'am AnL na lang kulang sa November group, malapit na yan Ma'am!
Got home to good news too, got back our passports & COPR last Tuesday, and ecas was also updated to Decision Made. We're scheduled to fly in September.
Thank you forum mates for making the wait less painful, for sharing advice and experiences. I'd be lost without the information I read from here.
God bless everyone!

Congrats mflicerio! I couldnt be happier seeing most of us are getting close and some finally reached the finish line. Goodluck to you and your family :)

Fears are rightly noted - as in any web systems that has access to personal information :) yes that is often the fear. The method of storing access details in a single location for purposes of easy access to our daily information has this associated risks and fears. Not dissimilar from how the various social sites (FB, linkedIn, etc...) actually has APIs to other web services and sites that can actually look into our personal information and preferences and data mine them, if the user allows it.

The use of the tool is left to the applicant's choice and is another of the available alternatives to going to the CIC web to login. It is not the first - there are others out there providing similar types of service. You may say it is a lazy man's approach to checking status, but it has its uses and may be preferred by other applicants. Nevertheless, if an applicant is not comfortable in giving the tool application info to check eCAS on their behalf, then stay away, and do not give it a second thought. Also it is not meant to solve issues with logging and accessing your eCAS information if any applicant has issues.

/all the best....

Hi! I guess there is nothing to worry about. Same tayo, "In Process" ang nauna then "Medical results have been received." :) Actually we have almost the same timeline. Let's hope and pray for the best. PPR soon! :D

@ araujoje - see here:

Link will bring you to our former discussions on Appendix A. Unfortunately it is not a downloadable form, but you may want to get a copy from those who have been sent PPR as the format may have changed to date. It is an attachment to the PPR email. Also it has been recently observed that photos are not being requested now (might be because of the new systems in place...).

/hth...

Thanks ragluf :)
