Hi to all, i received a AOR today (july29) from CIC, i have a question, how can i check my application online if they are in-process? And how long is waiting time for medical request. Thank u. God bless

Congratulations! That was a long wait till AOR.

You can check your application status periodically using ECAS - this link wil bring you there:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp

Use the information (UCI or Application File number) in your AOR to login. Wait a few weeks as you have just received your AOR and your file status may not be available yet for viewing in ECAS.

As to the MR, well as you can see, no time ranges would serve as a good indicator right now considering there are delays due to the strike of FSOs. Just be patient for a bit more...

1. PP
2. Filled-up and signed Appendix A (updated personal details/bio data sheet)
3. Photographs (Appendix B - Photograph specifications) - although there are posts recently where they were not required to submit photos.

Link will bring you to our former discussions on Appendix A. Unfortunately it is not a downloadable form, but you may want to get a copy from those who have been sent PPR as the format may have changed to date. It is an attachment to the PPR email. Also it has been recently observed that photos are not being requested now (might be because of the new systems in place...).

Thanks ragluf :) I edited my post, it's actually June 28, 2013.

Very thankful that after our medical has been cleared, it seems that they expedite the process of my application and no request for additional documents.

God bless us all

Actually I did not notice the date - I just focused on the three letters "PPR" in your message. :) :) :). In hindsight, the worries on the medicals proved to be untrue :).

They asked the personal history of principal applicant and spouse.

To those who got ppr - can you guys tell me please, if cic asked you to provide evidence that you sponsor is still living in the same province?

Which stream and under which PNP program?

Typically PNP are not requested as such given that the vetting process is the reponsibility of the province not at the federal level. I have come across posts mentioning these requests for verification of the sponsor usually in cases of the federal Family Sponsorship applications.

I'm under pnp family stream. I got Medical request. they also asked to submit documents such as police certificate, personal histroy, fees and pic. they didn't ask anything about sponsor's verification. are they asking other pnp-family stream applicant to verify sponsor's status?

I am not PNP-FS so I am not in a position to answer based on my personal experience.

Usually sponsor verification/eligibility to sponsor is done before federal CIO application in PNP-FS streams. You may want to qualify from where you got this information that prompted you to ask the original question and ask the poster his particular details, stream etc. PR applications under PNP are generally processed similarly, despite different streams, and most of the sponsorship vetting and pre-qualification for eligibility under the different PN programs are done at the provincial program level. Once an applicant is deemed eligible and admitted under a Provincial Program, it is the province that nominates the applicant - hence in my opinion an implied guarantee - further towards applying for PR under the PNP program (federal).

You may want to check your PNP program for recent changes - that may have triggered inquiries for verification of sponsor details late into the PR application process.
