Do you think not registering to canada immigration sponsored seminars like CIIP and COA will affect the processing of an application?

Hi,
it won't affect your application since it is not mandatory.
but if you have time, you can attend, it is free anyway.

Good luck!

My dad's friend received their PPR. they sent their passports last June1. They are one and half month head of me. Sana sunod-sunod na!!!

May software engineers ba na Pinoy applicant dito? Which province did you select? Yong sa amin is Ontario, I hope there are lots of jobs related to our experience dito.

Hi araujoje. Plan namin mag pa schedule as soon as we receive our PPR para makauwi na rin kami ng Pinas.

Yong work experience namin ng husband ko is more on embedded programming. I already started looking at the job market specifically on this field, medyo ok naman yong result sa search. Pero iba pa rin siguro if you get tips and suggestions from a representative sa seminar.

May nakapagtanong ba sa representative during the seminar an estimate as to the average time frame one can get a job (2, 3, 6 months?) related to our field?

To add more to our strong FAITH...and excitement. darating din yan. Pekto. Tapos nagpadala din ako ng letter thru DHL including the receipt of IME and Managers Check. Sulitin ko na sa isang sulat. Thanks nga pala sa email tapos follow your reminder to put Backlog reduction pilot, din follow also advice of ragluf to put that I was also FSW application way back 2005. I also inform my representative with this. Hopefully everything is ok. Hopefully may bago na sa ECAS ko by sending them email and letter. Tama din si ragluf na we must not compare our case to others kasi iba iba ang processing nila. Basta continue praying..be happy with your work... keep busy your self.. manood ng NBA Final kahit wala sa final ang team nyo..manood ng Superman kahit batman and robin ang type mo....or manood ng PLEASE BE CAREFULL WITH MY HEART" para kiligin kayo lagi..at higit sa lahat...."HAPPY FATHERS DAY" day sa lahat ng daddy...

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY...

Happy Father's day especially to all Pinoy dads out there... :) May PPR man o wala, go ahead and celebrate your day with your family.

Have a nice weekend to everyone!!!

Hi Ragluf,

46 days passed since CIO-NS acknowledged my application, No MR yet from VO (CEM or ADVO). If I apply for GCMS, will it help me verify in which visa office ended up?

Pinakamalaking hadlang for new immigrants is the concept of "previous Canadian work experience" as a requirement employers are looking in applicants. I posted some links I got from another thread here for info:
http://www2.macleans.ca/2013/04/24/land-of-misfortune/
http://www.beyondcanadianexperience.com/sites/default/files/csw-sakamoto.pdf

This should not discourage you - but this early, look for ways to work-around it. Address this question to the seminar spokesperson, especially for opportunities in the high-skilled/professional/technical fields and ask how this is being dealt with or what their recommedations are.

/all the best....
