Ahead ka sakin ng 1 month sa medical. 2nd week of Dec. naforward sa CEM yun medical result namin. Question lang, anong status ng E-CAS mo before "MEDICAL RESULTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED"? And when nagchange to "MEDICAL RESULTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED" yun status mo sa E-CAS? Kasi yun E-CAS ko "APPLICAION RECEIVED " pa din status.. Thanks!

HELLO EVERYONE. ASK KO LANG PO F KAILANGAN INFORM CEM NA NAKAPAGMEDICAL NA OR JUST WAIT FOR THE CLINIC TO FORWARD MEDICAL RESULTS TO CIC. THANKS IN ADVANCE SA MGA REPLIES NYO. CONGRATS SA MGA MAY VISA NA. GOODLUCK!

It does not hurt to inform CEM formally that you and your dependents have completed MR. Think of it as advance warning/pre-alert that you have complied with the instructions that CEM sent. So in that case, the processing is now in the hands of the clinic and not stalled in your end. Ball is in the clinic's court as I see it.

IMHO - you just need the right amount of "paalala" with CEM - to show that you are actively monitoring the progress of your application.

CIO recvd my application Nov 7th, no MR yet, should I worry? should i already make a follow-up? or wait until next week? ;D
a friend of mine already has an MR(yesterday) , CIO rcvd her app Nov 8th

Different circumstances for different applicants. The hardest part is the waiting, and the patience required to do so. That is why I advise to look at the total processing time, not the intervals between stages. You would see all applicants have differing experiences in getting any replies back from CEM within the stages of the processing.

IMHO - 3 months - my MR (email) was received end of March when I submitted first week of Jan last year. The MR forms were received 2 weeks later by post mail. Also you have to factor in the changes to medical processing for applicants with the roll-out of the new guidelines under http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2012/ob471.asp
You will note changes in the list of accredited doctors here - some clinics have been removed. http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medicalinfo.aspx?CountryID=2009&CountryName=Philippines

a little bit more of waiting - it will come....
