AOR - Feb 2012
interview - June 2012 ( sponsor )
LOA - June 2012
Application sent to CIC NS - Sept 14, 2012
received by CIC NS - Sept 20, 2012
AOR - Nov. 14, 2012
I received 2 e-mails actually... the first one is the AOR. 2nd e-mail is to inform me that my application is complete and that they will send it to a visa office for further processing...
is this what u call nomination or am i going to receive another letter/e-mail from them? pls enlighten me regarding this matter. How many days will i have to wait before i receive AOR from VO?

Hi - welcome to the thread.

The LOA from MPNP is actually your 'nomination'. Once you get that you are now a 'provincial nominee' and then you have to send your application to CIO-NS (start processing of your application for permanent residence). The 2nd email does indicate there is an AOR-VO forthcoming - usually in a few weeks if only the AOR-VO is sent and nothing else; or a couple of months if it comes along with your medical request (MR) or along with further instructions on additional docs to be submitted. VOs limit the amount of correspondence they send out. Nothing to do at this point but wait....

thanks.. actually i've booked my flight the same week i received my visa (it's been 3 weeks already).. anxiety? yeah, i guess that will explain how i feel right now.. especially that i have to leave my son behind (though not for long)... thanks and all the best for us...God bless

Actually, two more i know got their DMs today...as posted in FB group. very much happy...yes, praying this time to have the PP asap. my company will soon ask me for it as they have to renew my Residence Visa in UAE. we all got our PPR 1st wk November.

Did you "remind" CEM of their commitment (i.e. ... 90 days to return the passports?) and ask them to return it as soon as possible, as it is the main identity document and as you are residing outside of the PH? In any case - it won't be long now.

Hi ragluf and carlzeiss thank you. You're always a big help to us here. Been so busy at the office lately the problem is boss wont let go of me till Feb. next year. But did file my separation letter just the same and gave them 1 month notice for retirement effectivity. Hope this will be approved.
