First time ko mag apply work abroad at work permit muna asikasuhin ko .. Correct me if I'm wrong , pwede naman mag apply ng PR pag nanadoon na sa Canada di ba? Pwede ba kumuha ng PR at WP ng sabay dito sa CEM? Thank you ..
First things first - get a WP. Dyan ka muna magconcentrate - getting a WP and then coming into the country. You have the LMO and should have a work contract. Use this to apply for a WP.
FYI. Although technically pwede magsabay ang application ng WP and PR, these are different application paths. The one you have now is WP via LMO and arranged-work. Another is you can apply for a WP via PNP if your employer is willing to, and has filed for your nomination to the province through the streams specific to the Nominee Program of that Province (i.e. Economic, Skilled Worked Stream....). In that case - you have to wait for your letter of nomination, plus a letter of support that is used in place of an LMO in order to apply for a WP.
1. Get offer of employment --> employer gets LMO --> apply for WP ---> in-country, apply for PR (via CEC or PNP)
2. Get offer of employment --> employer gets you PNP nomination and requests letter of support --> apply for WP ---> in-country ---> continue processing for PR
In the second case, sabay nagsimula ang PR at WP process.
Makakaiba ang length of getting the person nominated and getting an LMO, take note of that..
/hope this helps, and good luck on your application...
