ghelai,

ganun yata pag sa CEM after pa ng medical results received bago mag change into IN PROCESS...sa CEM yata after several months pa 3-5 months after ng medical test yata saka pa lang PPR...not so sure about it, this just my opinion.

sa ADVO kasi iba din...nag change muna kami into "IN PROCESS" then saka pa yung line ng medical results:

IN PROCESS
We received your application for permanent residence on December 23, 2011.
We started processing your application on June 4, 2012.
Medical results received on ___________.

Averagely, sa ADVO from medical results received after a month or two kasunod nun PPR na...

goodluck!

Thanks sset,

Eto nga pinag aaralan ko ung trend dito sa Spreadsheet natin. Salamat

Pa-update na nga lng din po Medical received at CEM/VO as of 08/14/12 but according to the clinic where we had our medical they forwarded our results on july 23, 2012

ung sa hubby ko 7/23/12
mine was on 07/16/12
my two kids was on 07/12/12

Pa-update na lng po hah. salamat.

Ghelai

FINALLY SOME GOOD NEWS FROM MANILA!!!

They sent me an email last night requesting me to pay the $490 residence fee. Atleast its moving.

Does anybody know how long I have to wait before they (1.) encash the check and (2) ask for my passport

Hi Paulo,

Thanks for updating. Sa TIMBOL daw po 6 days lang, i read it sa isang forum dito or dun yata sa FB ng mga PNP. I also called this clinic max of 10 days daw. kasi sa Nationwide sobrang tagal. nasa 3 weeks pataas.

Thanks.

Mind you, Timbol is very strict and madami na ako kilala, pinapabalik balik nila... "money matters" lol

Hello po ask ko lang po pwede ba na iba ang magbayad ng rprf namin, dito kasi kami sa abu dhabi and vo namin is in manila. Sister ko sana ang mag provide ng cheque. Pano po kaya ang process nun? Any idea po? Thanks!!!!

My reasoning with not using the PO Box, is I send letters and replies with tracking plus signature. I am assuming that at the the PO Box address, you will not be getting a signature as it is just a common maildrop for all replies sent to the PO Box address. With the VO office address, there will be someone there to receive it and sign the tracking receipt.

I do not want to assume any problems on transferring from PO Box at MCPO to CEM, so I send it direct to CEM. And I have a record of receipt plus the name of the person who signed for it. Quite OC, but then it gives me some measure of security. :) :)

/hope this helps...

Will they still be able to receive my package? it will be delivered on Saturday (that's what the tracking says) and i assume that the canadian embassy in makati is closed on weekends..... :o

Somebody will still have to sign for it if it was delivered via courier with proof of delivery/signature of receiver requested if you sent it to CEM directly. Did you request for receiver's signature?

Nevertheless, CEM should have received it. The question is - when do they start to open the mail received, sort them and add them to the applicant's file, and then when do they process the applicant file? Seems to be they have different schedules for these actions.

I was in the PH in May and I stopped by at CEM to see where the deliveries are made. CEM has a special area at the Basement 4 RCBC plaza - for applications and documents sent via drop box and via courier. There is a person manning the area for courier deliveries who signs for the packages.

Canada post didnt tell me that i can ask for the receiver's signature and I did not send it to Basement 4. it was sent to:

Visa Section
Level 6, Tower 2, RCBC Plaza
6819 Ayala Avenue
Makati City 1200
Philippines

Do you think they will receive it? *very worried.
