> Congrats! :) Did they request for any additional docs like employment certificates and school credentials? your MR is on its way.. Best of luck!

just saw that ecas got updated: ;D

Medical results have been received.

MR received around feb29 and meds done at march 3 (Kualu Lumpur Clinic) and March 7 (Calgary Clinic)
I cant remember the last time i checked the ecas, so i dont know when this was exactly updated.

Also, in the ecas: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/redir.do?redir=app_perm_fam&lang=en&app=ecas

if the explanation is L
Medical Results Received by CIC
We have received your medical results. We will contact you only if additional tests are needed.

Then the status is:
DECISION MADE
(A decision has been made at this point.)

Does this mean that the med results were accepted okay by the CEM or that they have just reviewed it and they might still ask us to redo some things?

Also -when ecas is updated that Med results are received, how long does it usually take for PPR??

Thanks guys!

Hello ask ko lang po kung yung CIC sydey nova scotia is the same as soephenson citizenship? I got a message from my courier that my documents has been delivered to soephenson citizenship. Thanks!!!!

Hi! As far as I know, your documents should have been received by specifically by CIC CIO in Sydney, NS. What courier service did you use? I used DHL and they have delivered my papers to the exact address. I have never encountered "soephenson citizenship" in my readings regarding Canada immigration. Please verify with your courier. I hope this helps.

hi carl it was sent by aramex.... I asked them already if they have the same address and they will double check it in canada. Thanks a lot!!!!

I have a question, hope someone could answer...

I am a QSW applicant currently in Montreal. My application was received by the CIO on Feb 27, cheque cashed March 26, but I have received nothing yet from any office. So I called CIC yesterday and the agent told me my application is in Ottawa. She also said that the next step in the process is that my application will be forwarded to the visa office I requested in my application form. I requested for Manila (based on my nationality).

My question is -- do other applicants in the Manila office (or other visa offices for that matter) have their files going to Ottawa first before going to the Manila VO? 'Cause I thought Ottawa was only for those with Buffalo VO...

Anybody here has already attended the COA seminar sponsored by CIC last April 18? The speaker was fantastic and hilarious...never a dull moment... ;) ;D :)

hello friends!

I need advice from you guyz. I also asked this same question in another thread. Anyway, malapit na naman ang enrollment. My dilemna is if I should still enroll my children or not. Coz I was hoping (& praying!) that we could fly by July/August. Ano po sa tinging ninyo, based on our other friends' timeline, posible po kaya? Sayang din kasi pag inenroll ko sila (plus the uniform, books, supplies, etc.) tapos aalis din naman kami agad. Please enlighten me:) Thanks po!

Hi Kata,

If you are optimistic that you will fly by August (medicals done and visa stamped without any problem), then I think if I were you, I will just home-school my children and spend the time for my preparation and spend quality time with my relatives. Anyway, the children will be assessed which grade will they attend in Canada. Good luck!

Hi Kata. When was your medical done? The expiry of the PR visa is the same as the medicals, which is one year from the date of your medical exam. I think you can plan your travel to Canada based on that. Some people I know got their visas about 6 months before expiry while some got theirs with just 3 months before expiry. Hope this helps.

i don't know how to use eCAS...all i have is a file number, need help pls..thanks ???

Go to https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en , tapos submit Continue button lang until you reach CLIENT APPLICATION STATUS page (https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=ecas --> not sure ksi if you can go directly kasi i think you have to accept some agreement prior to this page.)

Check mo sa field na IDENTIFICATION TYPE, if you have anything na u can use for identification. For us kasi, we are using Unique Client Identifier (UCI) which was given to us when we received our AOR.
