Timeline for Filipinos submitted pnp-pr applctions at CIO

Depende ano ang gagamitin pagpasok sa Canada:
1. Kung gagamitin nya ang US PP nya to enter Canada, no need for a visa. Enter sya as a US Citizen into Canada.
2. Kung gagamitin nya ang PH PP nya to enter Canada, she needs a visa, as she is entering as a PH citizen into Canada.

If 1 - then no need to submit the PH passport, copy will do. As a US citizen, she does not need a visa, but needs a CoPR.
If 2 - then you need to submit the PH passport, dun ilalagay ang visa. Present visa to enter Canada and present CoPR to land and get PR status.

So you submitted both which is still fine, pero me instruction ka ba sa VFS/CIC which will be used (US PP or PH PP)?

Nothing to do at this point. Wait for the return of the PPs, and check if which PP has the visa. If no visa on PH PP, check CoPR and see which PP number is listed on the CoPR. Need to present the CoPR along with the identity document (in this case PP) whose ID is listed on the CoPR.

Saan kayo mangagaling to land in Canada - fron the PH or elsewhere? Note lang if there is a visa in the PH passport and mangagaling kayo sa PH, PDOS rules on immigrants will apply sa kanya (PH citizen immigrating from the PH).

Hello po! We submitted his PH passport since the VFS staff told us to submit the PH passport for PR visa.
If ever naman po sa Ph kmi mangagaling to enter Canada. Hopefully makatanggap na kmi ng instructions kung pano ggwin, hehe! Thanks thanks!

May 9, 2016 - Sent application via DHL to CIO (took time to submit bec dfa had problems printing passports)

Aug 25, 2016 - Received Medical Request
Sept 2, 2016 - Done with Medical Exam

October 6, 2016 - ECAS status updated to "Decision Made"

pwede pong maitanong gaano po katagal ang validity ng PR visa? ang start ba ng validity ay on the date ng pagka-stamp?

No need to include the fee payment form for online. Receipt only. It helps if you include a note explaining what the receipt is for - payment ng anong fee, sino ang applicants included sa payment na ito etc.

Online Payment - as soon as you input the details of the CC sa online payment page at na-finalize mo ang payment, sandali lang at processed na at usually me floating charges agad sa CC na ginamit for the form within a few days. Kaya me resibo agad as proof of payment.

Using Fee Payment Form - kung gagamit ng CC, hindi agad debited ang payment ng fee sa CC. Bale inilagay mo lang ang details ng CC na gagamitin mo for payment, at kapag natanggap na ang application sa CIC at nabuksan na, saka lamang i-process ang payment using the details ng CC na nakalagay sa Fee Payment form.

Thru sms notification. You have to pay for it though. I think nasa P68.00 ata yun for that service (per passport).

i went to a consultancy firm and they told me i am not elible for express entry para maging immigrant sa canada.

what if my friend from canada finds me an employer?
pwede ba ako magtrabaho sa canada? im a college undergraduate
certifid welder dito sa pinas at may working experience more than 1 year

Nope - hindi naman pre-requisite requirement ang pagkakaroon ng bachelor's degree para makapag-apply ng permanent residency. Permanent residency ang balak mong i-apply, hindi immigrant visa, right? Ang immigrant visa ibibigay sa iyo kapag approved ang permanent residency application mo. Mayroong mga streams na skilled trades ang hanap - those na hindi naman kailangan ng bachelor degree. Me kaakibat kasi ng "points" and educational attainment - mas mataas mas lumalaki ang chances mo if education ang malaking points contributor mo sa application. Maaring ito ang naisasaisip ng pinuntahan mong consultancy - base sa maari mong makuha na points, me estimate na sila ng chances mo.

Mahaba muna ang basahan mo to start - kailangan mo muna basahin ang literature para malaman mo ang options mo to immigrate. So una muna - background:

Kung consistent ang internet access mo - try mo yung online eligibility questionaire:

Base sa resulta nyan - nandun ang options mo. Note lang karamihan na ng mga skilled worker programs ang gamit is Express Entry:

So base sa sinabi mo welder ka - papasok ka under ng Skill Level B, under NOC 7237.

Ang options mo is:
- Federal Skilled Immigrant (Express Entry) - maaring under Federal Skilled Trades Program
- or maghanap ka ng Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) Skilled workers stream na qualified ka.

Now sa tanong mo - if me kaibigan ka na hahanapan ka ng employer - good but it depends what work. Kung welder din ang magiging employment mo - then me mga requirements - possibleng certification ng trade mo sa Canadian trades/skills organization or pa-certify ka ng skills mo sa isang accredited (ng CIC) na organization. Then kung pasok ka sa requirements - well me mga options na pwede kang daanan on how to get to Canada quicker.

Mahabang basahan talaga. Tyaga muna basahin ano ang nasa CIC web para me idea ka na ano ang options mo.
