Meron na ako nakita na ganyan - look for the history or search in the forum. Meron na din ako nakausap on this thread na nangyari yan. But a bit of explanation first.
It should be mentioned CEM has the medical officers na mag-a-assess ng medical results mo or specifically, there is a Regional Medical Office (RMO) in Manila that has the medical officers that provides the medical assessment. Kung umabot sa CEM ang medical results mo, it means it has been submitted for review and assessment to the RMO - as part of the medical assessment check. The clinic/PP only serves as a venue to administer the prescribed tests and any other tests needed to identify conditions of significance - no medical assessments are made here.
And if me advise for additional medical tests after mai-padala na sa RMO ang medical results mo - almost all of the time - this is medical furtherance. And this comes as a formal notice from the VO (in your case this is CEM). Me ipadadala na notice of medical furtherance.
So linawin natin, iba kapag
hindi pa naipapadala ang medical results mo at sinabi ng clinic na kailangan ng added tests - the clinic is following instructions set under the medical guidelines to test for and identify conclusively any condition of significance. Case in point - personal experience - after 2 weeks post-IME namin, saka lang kami pinabalik to redo a test (added blood sample required for them to run tests). Note this was pre-PP program and iba pa ang mga clinic na nagsasagawa ng IME. Before pa ma-i-submit sa VO namin, me medical tests redo kami. And wala pang decision on anything, ang kailangan lang gawin, maging conclusive ang test results para mag-arrive ang medical officer to the correct assessment. A redo for the test to be accurate. So comply lang - nothing to be worried about, it is procedure. Better maliwanag ang data in front of the medical officer rather than inconclusive and he/she makes a negative assessment.
So ano ang findings ng clinic sa amin? - I asked offhand - well me mga tanong sa liver function, pero does not fall under any condition of significance. And I understand, physicians do that - outside of the general requirements for them to do an IME. Doktor sila first, then secondary lang as agents under the PP program tasked to do medical exams. Kung magtatanong ka, madalas kasama ang opinion nila as a physician, speaking for your well-being, not just to clear the IME. In the PH, mas personal pa ang approach to medical findings, pwede mo i-discuss lahat, given time. In other countries, hindi na nga sasabihin sa iyo kung wala naman impact sa well-being mo - "just disregard that - you are generally fine and nothing is required else for this medical exam" - yan ang madalas na sasabihin. So paano kung (being morbid, excuse me) - me tumor ka sa brain, and small enough na hindi impacting sa normal day-to-day activities mo - wala namang tests to determine this na kasama sa instructions ng IME. So aside from this, if in good health ka, lulusot ka pa rin sa IME - di naman hinahanap kung me tumor ka di ba? Di kasama ang CTI scan sa ulo sa mga procedures.
You have nothing to worry to much about at this point, and note isa lang ang medical assessment mo sa assessment checks. You don't have to worry too much about only this one. Yes, hindi maiiwasan to be anxious - kailangan din naman you are aware of how your application is progressing - and I have gone through the same, so as others - yung iba I have conversed with as they were going through medical furtherance and they came out fine - and nasa Canada na sila.
Rather on dwelling on this too much, I'd advise to refocus your time to read and research on your intended destination, and prepare for settling down - hindi madali contrary to ano ang nabasasa commonly. Kakailanganin mo pa ng baon na pisi sa paghihintay na matapos ang lahat ng assessments - and madalas ito ang pinakamahabang period na wala kang naririnig sa application mo. Hwag mo ubusin agad.
